Please forgive the delay in responding to this matter. As I advised Samantha Villafuerte, I did not receive notice of the complaint until a hard copy was sent to us. It is possible if this was emailed, it was routed to a spam folder. As a preliminary matter, we do not believe this matter meets the...
National Complaint Acceptance Guidelines. Ms. [redacted], the filer of the complaint is not a customer of Codilis and Associates and has no marketplace relationship with the firm. Ms. [redacted] was purchasing the property from our customer. Her own complaint indicates that she had a real estate transaction with Auction.com. Although we are attorneys, we were not the attorney for Ms. [redacted], but the attorney for the seller of the property. Second, Ms. [redacted] states that we over charged her for our services. Ms. [redacted] states incorrectly that we handled the transaction for all parties. We did not represent Ms. [redacted], only the seller of the property. While parties to a real estate transaction may contract for different expenses to be borne by different parties, Ms. [redacted] was NOT our customer. It is our understanding based on Revdex.com complaint procedures available online that the Revdex.com does not handle complaints regarding dissatisfaction with a company's prices or complaints by persons without a market relationship to the business complained of. For that reason alone, the complaint should be closed. As attorneys with ethical duties of confidentiality we are limited on the details we can provide regarding our representation. However, as to the allegations regarding the method for proration of taxes, the methods used were methods customary and accepted method of prorating real estate taxes in connection with real estate closings in Illinois and the figures were disclosed and signed off on by all parties prior to or at the time of the real estate closing. In other words, each party had the opportunity to review, confirm, and/or reject the prorations governed by the contract. Moreover, the firm did not receive any money related to the tax proration and these are not funds the firm can refund. The transaction was governed pursuant to an agreement between the parties, and the other party, our actual customer, is not issuing a refund to Ms. [redacted]. We would ask that the Revdex.com close the complaint as it does not meet Revdex.com National Complaint Acceptance Guidelines and as the transaction was handled properly and according to the terms of the agreement between the parties. Tell us why here...
Review: In May I had someone coming through my neighborhood to do windshield repairs from Diamond Auto Glass and of course bribing with $50 dollar gift cards for each vehicle. We at that time had two vehicles wit cracked windshields so we agreed to get them repaired. We were told the gift cards would be in the mail within a couple weeks and they never came. I made several calls to the office and left messages for manager and never got a returned call. I gave it a few more weeks and called back and left another message and still have not received a call back. I am still waiting. They should not make promise with $50 dollar gift cards if they are not going to follow through.Desired Settlement: I would like my two $50 dollar gift cards I was promised and I won't use this company again or recommend them either
On May 29th we called diamond auto glass for a rock chip in our windscreen, on Friday a young man can to our home. He stated he was not very experienced with repairs - during the repair he cracked our windscreen 2 times and told us we needed a full replace. Saturday a guy came to our home to so the full replace. He was here about 30 min and knocked in the door to tell us the job was finished. He left and when we saw our vehicle we were shocked. Broken items, missing pieces, glue on paint, and a glass that was not set properly . When we tried to drive it the screen made a glass crunching noise. We immediately called the company and told them what happened . Joann on the phone said she needed to speak with the manager and would call us back. In the mean time we called our insurance company. When we were called back by joann she stated- do not drive the vehicle. It's unsafe to drive. We had a vacation planned to the next day which we had to cancel as it was a Sunday and nothing could be sorted out with our vehicle. Monday morning diamond auto glass calls us - the owner seemed annoyed and aggressive. I asked him to please come see our vehicle for himself. I asked that he not bring the gentleman back to our home. As we feel that he did an injustice to us. He knew he broke our vehicle and did not do a neat and great job . It was "noted" not to bring him . He stated that he would come out around 10-1030. 1125 there is a knock at the door . It's the owner and the guy we asked not to come to our home. I asked that he leave my property and the owner was welcome to see the vehicle that is in the garage. The owner began to verbally bully me and was very aggressive in his tone. Not once apologizing for what had happened to us. He said " we can make it look like it did, what do u expect the rubber was in a roll when they got it, our vehicle was made of plastic,." He was extremely rude and never said sorry , let's make this right!! He did say he had some clips to replace some of the broken pieces but was not willing to address the whole problem. He then states something put me being in the service and was rude and I asked him to leave. I would contact the insurance company . He got his phone out and started to photograph my wife and our home and vehicle. I closed the garage . My wife went to the front door and watched them leave. He was recording her and cussing and yelling at her as she spoke to the insurance company on the phone. We have lost 2 days of a no refundable vacation and now have to wait longer to have it sorted by a new company. Please do not use diamond auto glass in Phoenix az. They are not trust worthy nor military supportive!
