Diamond Decks

Jon came out to our house in Oct. 2017 to power wash and stain deck, rails and posts. We were his last job of the year. He completed most of the job, and said he would come back in Spring 2018 to complete the rest which was power wash and stain the posts, and re-stain deck floor. We paid him in full (big mistake), and trusted that he would come back. We never heard from him in the spring so I contacted him on June 26th to discuss him coming back and completing the job. He had me send him pictures again of our deck and posts. After several texts back and forth, one month later on Friday July 20th, he came over to power wash the posts. That's all he completed at that time. After 18 text messages back and forth over a 2+ month period, and numerous promises that he would come back and finish the rest, he never showed up again or returned any of my 4 texts in Sept. & Oct. 2018. Never saw him or heard from him again.

I had Jon *** out to my property for a pressure wash and stain job totaling $575 with half down on July 31st 2018 for pressure washing. I paid this to him with a check when he came out July 31, 2018. After several weeks of cancelations on his part from family issues, to no transportation, as well as setting up dates and time in which he just wouldn't show up or answer phone calls. I finally asked if he could finish he job to please let me know so that I could make other arranges because I had a Labor Day event and needed it completed. He insured he would be there the week of August 12th and all would be complete. Still no show or communication this week, and I called several times then I finally received a text message on August 19, 2018 stating he couldn't do the job due to transportation issues and would refund me my money. Jon said 25% was done so he'd would take off 25% off for the pressure wash from the $287.50 and refund me a check in the mail of the remaining balance approximately $215 . As we are here on September 10, 2018, I still have not received my refund. I have many text messages stating he's putting it in the mail and then I get a text on September 1 verifying my full name and address. I have yet to receive the refund or heard anything from Jon ***.
