Was putting money down on a vehicle, they said they wouldnt run my card til Friday the 15th then another 800 on the 22nd to complete the total of 1600Called diamond motors on the 8th of August, Spoke with sells rep named [redacted]. I gave him all of my information over the phone, he said come on down and was really friendly at first. School was starting so I brought my 8 year old son and my 6 year old daughter, as well as a Child hood friend of mine, who went on a couple of test drives with me. When we got there I was greeted by [redacted] who to say the least turned very unprofessional right from the start, using profanity, and smoking in front of my kids, I thought nothing of it at the time, but as they say hine sight is 20/20. The first vehicle we got into was a nissan pathfinder, dont remember a year, [redacted] hadnt even checked this vehicle out before letting me and my family get into this death trap, we got onto the freeway in it and it almost died on the freeway, sputtering really bad and we were almost rearended by traffic. Got back to the car lot and looked at something else, he insisted that the other car was a fluke, again tho lighting up another cigarette near my children. We got into and Isuzu Trooper, and it was filthy, paper and trash every where, so this was not a good vehicle either, same issue on the freeway. Test drove another vehicle dont remember what, but this one the ac didnt work and neither did some of the blinkers and not sure but I think the tail lights were out as well, so at this point im getting discouraged. [redacted] is also getting discouraged and impatient, starts asking me all sorts of weird questions like if im ready to buy today and if we cant do something soon because he gets off in an hour, but he assured me he would be done by then. At this point its like 330 on Sunday the 10th of August. We Finally get to a red jeep cherokee, which I currently drive a jeep so ok, its a 2001 I drive a 1995 so 6 year upgrade, I ask [redacted], can we make this work and he and I during the test drive had already spoke about the money on friday and the rest on the next friday, because I was going to leave them my 1995 Jeep Cherokee. Then do 800 on the 15th then another 800 on the 22nd. So test drive went ok, obviously some cosmetic stuff wrong with the car, but all in all I was ok. So we start on the paperwork and I was outside with the kids, while [redacted] was running back and forth like a tweeker, blowing smoke all around me and my kids, and pushing different numbers in my face, so the price I saw I thought was the price before they took off the 1600 for down and the trade, turns out not to be the case. I was ending up paying 10212 for a 2001 Jeeo cherokee with 135255 miles on it, not a good deal. But since at this point I felt rushed, [redacted] and his finance manager [redacted] ran through the paperwork as if they were trying to hide something, nothing was really explained, especially the part that says once you sign the car is yours, That should be printed on the door of every car dealership to be honest with you, I dont think anyone knows that rule except the car sales people. Needless to say, I never took the car off the lot because they said I had to have it insured under my name, also they let me keep my jeep saying that it wasnt worth it, now I didnt know that meant that they would take my 800 dollars that day, I thought oh well ill just sell it on [redacted] or something. So I drove my old car home after signing paperwork, Came to work on monday to find out that they changed some things on how we get paid. Now its a money issue, plus I checked my account and saw I had 800 less dollars then I thought, I immediatly called Diamond Motors and Talked to [redacted], I asked about the 800 then said I didnt want to do the deal any longer because they were dishonest and rushed me into this deal. I was appaulded to hear that they had no concern for me any longer, I was told that I couldnt get my money back and that thers nothing I can do about it, Its Wednesday, and I still dont have that car, nor do I want it at this point, they stopped answering my calls and wont talk to me about this. Please HeDesired SettlementI just want my 800 that they stole on Sunday the 10th of August back and thats all, I no longer wish to do business with these people please Help me, Im a single Dad, school was just starting and I needed a more reliable vehicle but I also needed that money for school supplies and things, I never authorized them to run my card.Business Response I am the general manager [redacted], I talked to [redacted] on Aug 12 14 he was told to call me regarding getting his down payment back on the jeep he bought on 8/10/14.He called me and said he decided not to buy a vehicle because his hours had changed and he didn't feel that he should go thru with the purchase at that time. I quizzed him some more on why he couldn't follow thru with the purchase and he said that the real reason was he changed his mind on the Jeep. I explained our policy about buying a vehicle and he said he understood. He never said anything about [redacted] either good or bad.I told him I would ck and see if there was anything I could offer him and that we would talk again. I spoke with [redacted] about two days later and told him that he would be able to use his 800.00 deposit on another vehicle if he did it within 30 days, he said he was fine with that and he would get back to us. What [redacted] said pertaining to his money being taken without his knowledge is simply not true we have signed contracts by [redacted] showing he was aware of 800.00 being taken on 8/10/14 and another 800.00 to be taken on 8/22/14.In fact he gave us his card to run on 8/10/14 (the only way we could have gotten the card to run) We have decided to give [redacted] a refund of 800.00 (credit his credit card acct) Obviously he isn't being totally honest with you.

Had truck for 8 weeks. Brakes went bad, manifuold exhaust ticking, rotors bad, shoes cracked, windows do not work.I purchased this vehicle on March 13th 2015. Everytime something goes wrong with this truck, I contact ** and [redacted]. ** always assures me that he knows the truck was sold bad and that repairs will be made by Diamond Motors and it never happens. They told me they replaced my brakes. However, I had the truck inspected by two different places that gave paperwork stating the truck needed new rotors, the shoes were cracked and that we needed new back brakes. They said if the just replace the brakes, that wont fix the problem. ** promised me a wheel alignment as well...That has yet to get fixed. When I call and complain, [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] shows no concern AT ALL. They simply yell and argue with me over the phone instead of admitting that they sold me a LEMON. When purchasing the truck, I specifically told ** that I did NOT want to go over 9,000. He hiked my APR up and the price of the truck has gone from 7,900 to 11,000. UNFAIR AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION. Desired SettlementI am seeking to have the repairs done that ** has been promising for 6 weeks now. Rotors replaced, manifold exhaust, shoes and new brakes. I expect what the salesperson PROMIS** would get fixed, to be fixed. Business Response We have been more than fair with both [redacted] and [redacted] and have gone above and beyond to help them. We even helped them get into a vehicle and worked with them without the full down payment at time of purchase . As far as saying we switched the APR on the loan is simply a lie, the APR is the same for all of the loans we have on our buy here pay here program. We did in fact take a look at the brakes on there vehicle more than a month after they bought it, and although the brake pads and shoes were at well over what is and was safe and at a legal thickness, we did replace ALL brakes front and rear and BOTH rear drums and BOTH front rotors because they were complaining of squeaks coming from the brakes.(the warranty they have on the vehicle they signed for says they agree to pay 50% of parts and labor on any repairs, they were charged nothing)As far as saying ** promised them anything, they signed a due bill when they bought the vehicle (all customers do)that said the only thing we were addressing was a replacement of a tire, which we took care of right after the purchase. They also signed a form that says any thing promised to them HAS to be in writing, they know this and agreed to it. So making up stories that ** or anyone made them many promises is again not true. Any and all of these forms including the receipts for all the brake parts are available for viewing. We sell hundreds of vehicles every year and work closely with everyone we sell to make sure there experience is a good one, our past record and time in business says a lot to that point, however there are some customers no matter what you do you can't make them happy.

I purchased a 2002 [redacted] Rav4 from Diamond Motors. The vehicle had a major transmission issue (I called [redacted] and confirmed the issue). It was slipping from 2nd in to 3rd gear. This was discovered during the loan process (within a few weeks) and my loan was declined by the lender. This was also missed on their vehicle inspection report. After negotiating with them, (they originally wanted to re-appraise the vehicle and roll me in to another vehicle/loan) they stated that I could "swap" in to another vehicle. I test drove a few vehicles and could not find another vehicle at the price I wanted, I even made a reasonable offer. For example, a 1998 [redacted] Cherokee Classic with 185k was offered to me at 6k. I feel they increased the prices of the other vehicles as retaliation for turning the Rav4 in. I asked for my down payment back and they refused. They stated they could get me back in to a loan on the Rav4, when I refused to sign anything as that is my right, they stated that I did not have to sign, they would just do it for me. Additionally, they are in the process of calculating a "rental" fee for the time I drove the vehicle. Out of the paperwork that I received, unless they did not give me all of the paperwork, the vehicle purchase order and the contract for sale and security agreement for sale of vehicle with payment of simple interest, neither documents state where I agreed to pay a rental fee.Product_Or_Service: CarDesired SettlementThe dealership is in possession of the vehicle, the loan was declined (I did not even make my 1st payment yet as the loan was being processed) due to a major transmission issue that was missed on the dealer inspection report, per my Nevada DMV rights I have declined to resign any other loan paperwork and I could not find another vehicle on the lot, I would like a refund of my $1500.00 down payment that they have refused to give me.Business Response [redacted] bought this vehicle from us after taking the vin# on the vehicle and doing her own research which took a few days for her to decide she wanted to buy the vehicle. By the way this wasn't the first vehicle she looked at to buy, and her salesman [redacted], is also her neighbor. Also for what it's worth she said she didn't want to purchase a extended warranty because she did a vehicle history check on it and it checked out good and it's a [redacted]. She bought the vehicle and the deal was approved by the bank. She had been driving the vehicle over a month and the bank had been trying to get in touch with her to do a customer interview before funding the loan, when they did finally talk to [redacted] she told them she thought there was a issue with the transmission and she didn't want the vehicle, the bank then called and told us what had transpired and that they wouldn't be funding the loan. Two days later [redacted] brought the vehicle back to us and took off her license plates (she already had registered the car)and told us she didn't want the vehicle, as she thinks there is a transmission problem, this by the way is after 43 days of having the vehicle and over 800 miles put on it. We told her we would have the vehicle checked out at a transmission shop which we did, and they couldn't find anything wrong with the vehicle, two things to note about that, we took the vehicle to [redacted] Transmission to have it looked at, they are the ones that gave it a clean bill of health (they also have a A+ rating with you)and I have been driving the vehicle since we got it back from them over a week ago and have not had a problem with it. [redacted] is right in saying we offered her another vehicle, we only did this because she is/was a friend of our salesman and we were trying to help her not loose most of her down payment in time and mileage fees she ran up while she had it. It seems very convenient she "lost " her copy of the form that she signed explaining that to her, I can fax a copy of that to you if need. We have since been contacted by a Attorney on her behalf and will be forwarding any and all needed documents to them pertaining to this vehicle sale. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I called my sales rep, [redacted], to explain the problem with the transmission. [redacted] stated that they/he would look at the car and have it re-appraised. I had done the financial interview a couple of days prior to calling the lender. I called the lender to ask about how the re-appraisal affected my loan terms. The lender asked what happened. I stated it has a transmission issue. I had noticed the issue, my mechanic noticed it and I spoke to [redacted] as well. If [redacted] didn't say "re-appraise" I wouldn't have called the lender, which they said they'd deny the loan. (I was going through loan processing as of 02/16/2015). I said to [redacted], what do we have to do to get me into something else? Only after 'talking' did Diamond Motors say they'd swap me into another vehicle. That is when I dropped off the car. I can list each document that I received from Diamond Motors - 1) my payment receipt for my down payment in cash of $1500.00, 2) Used Vehicle Inspection Sheet, 3) Insurance loss payee address should appear as: document, 4) CARFAX report, 5) Contract for Sale and Security Agreement for Sale of Vehicle with Payment of Simple Interest, 6) Vehicle Purchase Order, 7) Odometer Disclosure Statement, 8) Agreement to Furnish Insurance Policy, 9) To our valued customer; document with referral information, 9) 5 business cards and the original envelope they put these documents in. These are the only documents I received at signing. Final Business Response I'm not real sure what [redacted] is referring to about having her car re-appraised, that makes no sense what so ever. And as far as doing anything else with this complaint with the Revdex.com, we tried to come to a resolution with [redacted] by going above and beyond what we needed to do to try to help her, we had her vehicle checked out after she brought it back( almost 45 days later) the transmission shop could find nothing wrong with it (they make there living fixing transmissions, if there was something to fix they would have been more than happy fixing it and charge us ) And I personally have been driving this vehicle everyday and also haven't had a issue with it. For whatever reason [redacted] managed to get the bank not to fund her loan, got the Revdex.com involved for no reason and has retained a attorney, so from this point on we will be dealing with her attorney regarding this matter.

STARTED MAKING PAYMENTS ON VEHICLE THAT WAS COMPLETE GARBAGE. CHARGED WAY TO MUCH ON ONTEREST TRIED TO GET OVER ON ME. ...Desired SettlementCOMPLETE REFUND FROM COMPANY AND APOLOGY FOR HARASSING MEBusiness Response On 2/12/15 [redacted] and his wife/girlfriend purchased a 00 GMC Yukon from us. There credit was not up to bank standards and only option was in house financing if they wanted to buy a vehicle, they BOTH agreed to the terms and rate of contract. His 1st payment was due on 3/14/15 (30 days after purchase) on 4/3/15 (50 days later)[redacted] came in with 30.00 a week later he came in with the bal. We have been calling and sending late notices since they bought this vehicle. They have had the vehicle for over a year and have only made 3 full pymts in any given month never on time and are currently almost 1700.00 PAST DUE. They did have a warranty on the vehicle (3 month or 3000 mile 50/50 warranty) The vehicle had a engine failure past the 90 days but we still upheld the terms of the warranty and not only paid our half of the repair bill, we paid his half to get it out of the shop so they would have the vehicle to drive. I think it's interesting that they both now have phone numbers that don't work, mail coming back to us saying not at this address, are hiding the vehicle from us (removed/disabled the GPS violation of contract terms) and are 1700.00 past due, now all of a sudden we are the bad guys for helping them when nobody else would. They need to get current or return vehicle those are there only options. Final Business Response Update 5/3/16 went to [redacted]'s work and spoke to him as to why he hasn't returned any of our calls or letters we have sent him to see if there is someway to help him out. [redacted] said he hasn't seen the vehicle in question in months, and that he took the plates off of it and parked it out in front of his house and it went missing. Seems odd that months after he thinks we came and got the vehicle he would file a complaint with the Revdex.com and never mention he doesn't have the vehicle. He needs to file a police report and contact his insurance company. Sounds like he is hiding the vehicle.

I went to this dealer and they told me that the Kelley blue book on this vehicle was way higher than it actually was. They charge me over four thousand dollars for a vehicle that is only worth 1000. They lied to me. Then when I brought it up they told me I was screwed.Product_Or_Service: 96 Ford mustangAccount_Number: t15361Desired SettlementI would like them to change the price to the Kelley blue book of the vehicle like the sales associate said it was. Business Response [redacted] bought this vehicle in Feb of this year and has been making payments to us since then. Our vehicles are priced just as all the other dealerships price there vehicles and that's sometimes using the Kelly blue book, but unusually, what is used is market value of the vehicle. The market value is based on things like; condition, miles, availability of a certain models, is a certain vehicle popular in that market,(example: a convertible will have a poor market value in Alaska and a 4x4 of any year will hold a very high market value to blue book value) Here in this region, 4x4's, Suv's and sport type cars hold a higher market value to blue book value. Also keep in mind, the market value also affects the price the dealer has to pay for these as well. In speaking with [redacted] salesman, [redacted] didn't ask for a Kelly blue book on this car, if he had we would have given him one as well as explained market value to him.

I would just like to say Diamond Motors has been the best ever to buy a car through, I will only use this company and recommend all my friends to go through Diamond Motors. They are honest, they will work with you, have great cars at a good price. Can't say enough good about the company and all who work for them.","pos-1
