Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
This a request to reopen this case as the Business did not properly address my complaint as identified above.  The business filed an incomplete response by not responding to the major defects concerning their workmanship as described in my complaint or to the damage done to my furniture.  Attached are five photographs which represent a tiny snapshot of the poor quality of their work performed.  They claimed that I told them that my California house was painted inside and outside for the amount of $2800.00.  That's an incorrect statement.  The correct amount was $4800.00.  That doesn't matter anyway because it's irrelevant.  Their comments stating "she kept changing her mind on the color" is overstated.  Rather, there was only one time that I changed a color which represented a small amount of paint.  Diamond Painting was not supposed to paint the entire room without my preapproval of the paint.  [redacted] agreed up front that he'd paint one wall then get my approval.  That didn't happen.  That room didn't take 10 gallons of paint as they stated.  I did compliment the work in the beginning but as the work progressed, that was not the case and I began documenting the problems.  I started documenting the problems when [redacted] hung the first door "upside down."  I showed my lists to [redacted] and I was told to hold on to them until the work was completed and then they would address all of the line items.  My list was beyond a punch list.  I even pointed out these items when [redacted] appeared on site.  The fact that the bright white color of paint can show blemishes is not true as evidenced by the beautiful work just completed by a new contractor; his work is flawless.  Had Diamond Painting properly "prep" the walls and doors there would not have been any blemishes.  They claimed hat my house was a "disaster of a house."  My home is no different than any other New England home that has uneven walls, floors and etc. from settling .  Even brand new homes are not spared any of these same issues.  A good carpenter skilled in the art knows how to work with these issues so it should not have been any different with Diamond Painting.  I did request all new doors because they damaged every door by the improper installation of all of the hardware.  The doors could not be saved.  Diamond Painting didn't even explain the improper cuts of the hinges.  Those cuts had nothing to do with the door jams or the cuts on the doors themselves.  The Contractor's Board did come out and investigate and as a result did violate them and that violation does appear on the Board's website under their company name.. Their comment about a central vacuum system is irrelevant.  As mentioned above, the five attached photos represent a tiny snapshot of their poor work.  I have approx 95 more photos ready to send you at your request.  Once you review these photos you'll appreciate why I'm requesting a full refund as these photos speak louder than my words written. I request Diamond Painting to return to my complaint and make a "complete response" to the Revdex.com to all of the issues described in my complaint as their response just submitted to the Revdex.com does not correctly answer the issues.  Further, I request a certified check in the amount of $22,858.47.  This does not include damage to my furniture.  Rather, their insurance company stands ready to pay me for the furniture they damaged.

I was contracted by [redacted] in January 2017  to remove casing and install new casing, crown molding, remove and install new interior doors not hardware as she wanted to reuese the old, and paint all walls and ceilings and closets. We first met I gave her an estimate of 28,000 she was not...

happy with that stating that in CA. she had her house painted in and out for 2,800. I told her that she was changing the color and to do it correct she would need 1 coat primer and 2 coats of paint she said no, I then gave her an estimate of 24,000 to for only 1 coat of paint on all walls ceilings, and doors.   project was started on 01/23/17 we removed all casing, doors and a ketchen Island.  I then spoke to her about the door jams and wall being extremly uneven and therefore, the crown molding would not lay flush and door would not be flush without replacing the door jams she understood and signed a document stating we went over it and she understood.  we wasted about 10 gallons of paint because she kept changing her mind on the color, once in came time to paint the trim I brought samples over painted a 12 inch strip on the molding she picked the color and the high gloss I explained to her that the High gloss would show every imperfection she understood.  She was very happy every day she would call me to tell how happy she was and what a great job [redacted] was doing (he is working miracles out of disaster of a house) I spent a lot of time helping her I went with her to about 5 different appointments looking for a kitchen home depot as she kept changing her mind she wanted a kitchen that could not fit in her house the lady that came to measure fot the kitchen told her the measurements in the kitchen were 3 different sizes thats how uneven the walls and ceiling were she understood because she seen it with her own eyes.  she never stated that she was unhappy until the very last day and started yelling at me because of the high gloss paint and wanted all new doors. to make this a little shorter I will just explain what happen after that.  I was to come to her house and clean on Monday, she called me in the morning told me not to come she had filed a complaint with the contractors board, I then spoke to them I agreed to come and fix what they wanted fixed she refused wanted nothing short of a full refund so the contractors-board closed the case, because that is not how it works, she then file a claim with my insurance company they offerd her 5.000 she refused that wanted 24,000 and then put this complaint in I have done and tried everything to make her happy she wants all her money back because she has buyer remorse, she complained about the electrician she hired and she had central vacuuming put in and the next day had it removed and bought a new one from a different company and was unset because the other company wouldn't give her her money back. Thank you [redacted]  Diamond Painting and home improvement, Inc.Warwick, RI 02888

I have not changed the text of my complaint as claimed by the Business.  Rather, I merely requested the Business to return to my original complaint and provide a complete response to "all" of the items cited therein.  In addition, the Business has failed to respond to the numerous (very detailed) photographs which illustrate the Business' lack of skill set and knowledge required to perform finish carpentry and/or perform as a house painter.  The photographs I provided in no way change my complaint.  Rather, they "support my complaint" and the Business cannot deny their shoddy and unprofessional workmanship shown in those photos.  They did a real hack job on my home and I deserve a total refund.  Again, I respectfully request the Business return to my original complaint and accompanying photographs and provide the Bureau and me with a formal and "complete" response.  Anything short of a complete response to the complaint, including the photographs, by the Business will be regarded as a "Non Response and/or Un-Resolved" complaint and the Bureau is respectfully requested to take the appropriate action to disposition this case and cause the Business to forfeit their Revdex.com membership and A+ rating.  Kindly keep me informed of the disposition of this complaint.
