The air conditioning system has not been fixed after requesting a maintenance team to fix multiple times. Additional, rat and bug infestation.
The air conditioning unit does not function in apartment ***, ***, ***. After contacting the property manager *** multiple times, the issue has not been addressed. The interior temperature reaches 80-85 degrees in the mid afternoon.
Additionally, within the first few weeks of transitioning into this apartment a rat damaged some cooking utensils and defecated on cookware. I caught 1 rate on *** and caught 2 additional rats on ***. There are also centipede-like bugs that have come up through the foundation wall after a floor remodel. After sealing the floor with tape I discovered the bugs were also entering through a tiny gap between the door seal and door frame. I killed more than 200 hundred of these bugs over the past two weeks and discovered countless carcasses in low illumination areas.
This unit is uncomfortably hot and disgusting to live in. Furthermore, the property manager does not seem to care.
(1) Fix Air Conditioning (2) Seal floors and doors to prevent bugs from intruding (3) Prevent rats from occupying cupboard space by sealing draws or exterminating the rodent. Reduction in rent departure fees.
