Get everything they say in writing. Their word is nothing but just words...I guess I should have known that. They sold me a car with illegal tint on the windows and promised to fix it but unfortunately I believed their word and they claimed ignorance "not remembering" their promise. Very frustrating.
Mark is an honest, straightforward, and highly skilled mechanic. I would and do recommend him to family and friends all the time and we wouldn't trust our vehicle into the hands of anyone else. He gives great service and advice and doesn't try to sell you more than what you need! We can be sure that we are getting accurate info and assessment and top quality service here, every time.
The Car Store on Main sold 2 vehicles to my sons with clear Carfax reports and a verbal guarantee that neither had been in accidents. We found at a later date that both vehicles had previous extensive damage. One vehicle was traded in for another car that was with a clear Car Proof report that had not been in an accident. We later found out that this vehicle had $14,000 in a damage claim 4 years prior.
Beware of their smooth talk and deceit as this is not a coincidence I am sure.
We are still in the process of resolving this matter but not with The Car Store themselves as they will not accommodate our requests.

I've been to a number of used and new car dealerships in my lifetime, and the experiences I've had at the car store on main stand out from the rest. I wasn't immediately harassed by a salesman the moment I entered the lot, and I wasn't pressured at all the entire time I was there. Every car looked and felt brand new, so it's like you're buying a new car but without the new car pricetag and mandatory manufacturers service schedule. I honestly can't imagine why anyone would buy a new car when buying a 3 year old one can save you over $10k.
