Review: We purchased an [redacted] deal for their $100 carpet cleaning service that covers 3 rooms or 600 square feet. We paid $40. When I called to book the appointment, the gentleman tells me there is an additional $8 charge for travelling because we are outside their area and that it said that in the voucher. I said that the voucher does not say that and I can verify that when he gets here. When he arrived he swore that he told me he would not come unless I paid the $8 and I said, no, I told you I would show you the voucher and you needed to show me where it said that on there. Of course it did not say it on there. He proceeds to tell me about his other services for which I do not have any extra money for since it is the holiday season, but he sold me on the extra $45 sanitizing/deodorizing that is supposed to take care of allergens. I only had a total of $43 on me so I thought he was doing me a huge favor by accepting this and waiving the travel fee and I was grateful that was until I saw the result of the whole cleaning. Well, I've had professional cleaning before for around $100 and it took them close to two hours to clean a couple of rooms. This man was done the whole process in under 15 minutes! I asked what I paid the extra money for and he said it was the spray bottle he spritzed around on the carpet that made it smell good. Seriously???? The carpet is now wet but looks no different than when he started. A few months ago I rented and used a grocery store machine and it did a much better job than this professional service just cost me. So now $83 poorer and I have to go to the grocery store to rent a machine to do what I thought this service was going to do for me which was to clean my carpet. My husband came home and took one look at the carpet and was furious that we spent that much money and the carpet looks the same as when he left that morning. He called them first and asked how long the process takes - they said 4hrs. Then he called to complain and they said no refund.Desired Settlement: I'd like a refund since I now have to go through the trouble of going to the grocery store to rent a machine to clean my carpets!!!

The coupon is for a basic cleaning only. As stated on the coupon, which she failed to mention, deep cleaning and stain removal is additional. We told the customer prior to cleaning in order for us to come out she needs to cover those tolls or we would not service her as [redacted] takes 50% so to come all the way up there for $12 is ridiculous. Customer claims it should take 2 hours to do a basic cleaning on 2 rooms? It take me that long on a whole large house that is heavily soiled and they spend over $400, not for a measly $20 job. We will not give a refund and consider this matter CLOSED

Review: I have a few complaints, but the main one is about the damage done to my wood floors that has not been taken care of. First is the sell tactics which I feel is a scam by him going through [redacted]. I used this company to have my carpet cleaned and we had initially purchased it through [redacted] for $40 dollars. At the day of the service, I was told that deep cleaning would be another $100. I asked if there would be $40 credit for the [redacted] coupon, which he said no. But he told me that had I gone still. So going to [redacted] would make it me 40% more costly for the same service, I highly doubt [redacted] knows about this tactic as it feels like a scam. Due to the extra cost already, I opted to deep clean just one room for $50 extra and to leave the $40 already bought basic service for my other two rooms that needed cleaning (plus $35 in sanitizing/deodorizing service). All in all I paid %125 for something that I only would have paid $100 for had I not gone through the [redacted].However, my main complaint is what happened after my carpets were cleaned. He had missed several spots and my carpet look like zebra stripes, and when I contacted him he agreed to come back and clean my carpet again. He also deodorized my carpet again as it still had an odor. After he was done with this he decided to pick up the spilled water on my wood floors with his carpet cleaning device, which left a 10 inch scratch in my new wood floors. He said a buffer would take care of it and that I should call him to set up a time for him to come back and take care of it. Well, I have called and left a message, texted him, and e-mailed him, but he has not returned my calls and seem not to be willing to do anything about the damage he did t my floors. I had the floor installation company come out and take a look and they informed me that the only way to get rid of the scratch is to replace the boards. This is going to cost me $150 and I sent last week an e-mail letting him know about this.Desired Settlement: The first complaint about the sells tactic via [redacted] is just for Revdex.com information only, but I do expect this carpet cleaning company to take care of the cost for fixing the damage he did to my wood floors by scratching it with his carpet cleaning device. I need him to pay the bill of $150 to replace the boards where the scratch is. This estimate is from [redacted] who installed my floors through [redacted].
