Review: purchased a car less than 3 months ago from Diamond state Motor Sales we were guaranteed the vehicle would pass Maryland inspection however we stated that we were registering it in Delaware. the correct paperwork was never completed ford delaware dmv so we were told to go to MD dmv by the sales man Anthony, where we spent 65 dollars for an inspection that failed. now driving on illegal tags the inspection showed 2 tires on the inside we're completely dry rotted of you lights we're not incorrect working order and windshield wipers were really bad. we were told we had to pay Diamonds State Motor Sales $410.00 for them to do the paperwork for tags in Delaware. I complained that the car would not even pass Md inspect and we lost money after being guaranteed to pass I was told by Jim the sales Mgr that it was to bad for me because we were going for De tags so it should not matter about the tires. This is a hazard issue and also sold to us under the impression the vehicle was in good shape and also would pass inspection. 2 days off of work with loss of pay from visiting 2 seperate state DMV's. We finally paid the $410.00 for the tags and were also promised they would overnight them to me. Spoke to Anthony today and now I either have to pay $80 more dollars for overnight or wait 4 days to get my tags by USPS. And not to mention they will not replace the 2 tires they are responsible for. This is the worst vehicle purchase I have ever made. NEVER AGAIN will I deal with this company.Desired Settlement: Replacement of bad tires, bulbs and lights as stated on MD inspection form.
