My review is for the online customer service only/company I purchase pairs of sunglasses within a few weeks of each other Two of them were the recycled skateboard wooden glasses My boyfriend loved mine so much that we decided to buy him a pair a week after mine arrived Within weeks of wearing mine the wood split on the side of the lens I kept these glasses in the case, which wasn't the best fit to begin with, and in perfect condition I wrote to the Company to find out the exchange policy and included multiple pictures showing that this was clear product malfunction There wasn't even a smudge on the lens since I had barely worn the glasses The response I got back was "The Recycled Skate sunglasses are considered wearable art which should be treated with supreme caution." And that I was pretty much out of luck Nowhere does it say that these glasses are wearable art that I have found, and in my situation where I have purchased two pairs of $glasses and the oth

Yesterday I received an email stating an order I placed on 12/17/14 had been credited back to me due to the product being out of stock. Understandably I was outraged, feeling that basically someone had stolen right out of my virtual shopping cart. I had already received order confirmation so how was this possible? I called the number provided in the email and was ready to flip my lid. It was about five minutes before 5pm and I was shocked when the phone was answered by a person (no robotic phone system with a thousand demands before reaching a person, this was very refreshing).

The young man who answered the phone is named [redacted] (unfortunately I did not get his last name). I explained how important it was for me to get this belt. I went on and on about the thousands of dollars I have spent buying Diamond Supply for my son. I basically sounded like a raving lunatic. [redacted] calmly explained that the business was closing but that he would do everything in his power to help me in the morning. I thought to myself I would never hear back from him and I’d spend my day waiting for the business to open and making phone call after phone call.

Surprisingly enough my phone rang at noon today (east coast time, so [redacted] basically called me right when he arrived to work) and [redacted] pleasantly informed me that he had searched the warehouse and found the belt and would be sending it to me immediately.

In all my years of dealing with retailers I have never been more impressed by the customer service this young man displayed. He listened to my ridiculous rant and cared enough to save Diamond’s reputation. Sad to say it is a rarity to find good employees in today’s world and [redacted] seemed to really care, not only about my happiness, but the success of Diamond Supply.
