Review: I contacted 4 different HVAC service people in the area to give me a quote. DH Heating was one of the four we contacted. Mr. T[redacted] told me he would be more than happy to go by the property to take a look. When he arrived at the property he told me the unit had been taken apart and that he couldn't give me a quote without going inside the property. I contacted a friend of ours who has the key to the empty rental property. I waited to hear back from Mr. T[redacted] with a quote. He sent me a quote that was $600 higher than the other three HVAC contractors.

After discussing this with my partner, we decided to go with someone else. It was only then that Mr. T[redacted] informed me we owed him 395.79 for 4 hours of labor, actually work he was NEVER authorized to do. He is now threatening to put a lean on our property if we do not pay for the "service" charge. This was never to be a service call, but a quote on a new HVAC unit.Desired Settlement: We want nothing to do with him. He not only lied, and not once did he tell me I was going to be charged for an hourly, not once did I authorize any work to be done, and not once out of the five different conversations did he mention a service fee.
