The recall is not related the air bag light being on, and we informed the guest on his paperwork that further diagsis was needed at that time. As we mentioned to Mr*** the air bag light that is on needs to be diagnosisHe declined further diagnosis of the air bag lightPlease see attached Multi Point inspection where our technician is asking for diagnosis timeDuring that December 23, visit we performed the air bag recall per
BMW NA and updated the part for the driver side air bagAlso, Mr*** brought his vehicle in on December 4, RO# for the passenger side air bag which we performed according to BMW NAIn addition, we documented that his air bag light was on back then and he declined further diagnosis. (Please see attached RO) We would be happy to diagnosis his air bag light, but it is not related to the updated parts installed per BMW NA and NHSTAThe air bag light has been on since his visit with us.
