Dear ** ***, Response to ** ***'s Statement to Revdex.com complaint no***We performed work for ** *** over a period of nearly three months through June of this yearOn two occasions during the time I have worked with this client, I have had payments made by check bounce, although these were later paidWithout notice in July, ** *** informed me that she was not going to pay the full amount outstanding to cover my fees as well as amounts due to three Subcontractors who had completed work on her home** *** now owes a total of $5,in unpaid bills to me and three of my sub-contract vendorsHaving failed to get any payments from ** *** in spite of numerous requests, subsequently sent a Letter of Demand to the client on September 9, I had requested a response within seven days, I eventually got a response from ** *** sometime after the deadline saying she did not intend to make any paymentI subsequently filed a Warrant in Debt in the Arlington General District Court in Virginia, and the court has now set a hearing date for November 21, for this matterThe complaints from ** *** are completely unwarranted and only emerged after I had requested payment for the overdue amountsI had previously arranged numerous credits for items ** *** wanted to return for any reason, and offered to remedy any issues with Work done, however, she would not allow me or any of my sub-contractors into the house to observe the issues she had claimedI assume all along that this has only been an effort to delay and or not pay the outstanding amounts due.Yours sincerely,Diana Hannes

it is the first time that I haveseen this.  I just received the written advice from your office by mail, dated October 15th of this compliant  and then I contacted your office, so this is the first time that I have seen this complaint. It should be noted that [redacted] has pieces of furniture that I ordered from manufacturers in her home and has received services provided by an electrician and painter/handyman and faux painter that had not been paid for as well as my fees.  [redacted] complained about the finish on the legs of a coffee table and the manufacturer agree to refund [redacted] if she donated the piece of furniture to charity.  I received a receipt from the [redacted] from [redacted] stating that furniture had been donated.  I then credited her account for this amount however, I noted that [redacted] still had the furniture after the date of the [redacted] receipt.  Also I ordered for [redacted] a [redacted] mirror on a final sale using my trade relationship. [redacted] complained about the finish of the mirror. [redacted] agreed to issue a refund for the mirror even though it was a final sale.  However [redacted] had already requested my faux painter to change the finish on the mirror, the painter was in the house at the time working on her Chandelier and sconces, before we had a response from [redacted] stated in a letter,  that they would not accept a return if the item has been altered (also it was final sale but agree to a refund because of my trade relationship) but [redacted]  wanted to donate the mirror to charity and not return it and received a refund and for me to pay for the faux painting as she said it was an error.  [redacted] is refusing to pay for the mirror or the faux painting of it.  [redacted] also has her upholstered chairs in her home now,  I had not refused to return the chairs  I had requested an upfront payment for fabric and I then had a bounced check and I had advised [redacted] that we could not proceed until Ireceived payment for the fabric.  I am out of pocket for this job,  in fact not only have I not been paid,  but I had to pay my vendors for work done for [redacted] and furniture received.  The chandelier was painted by [redacted] and this is a further story along similar lines as we showed [redacted] a sample board and she was in the house and approved the finishes and the estimates.  I have copies of all the letters and requests.  I have sent [redacted] , a letter of demand as a fair warning for a Warrant In Debt (Civil Claim for Money) in the Arlington General District Court for $5,137.25 plus expenses.  I think that this letter may have precipitated the formal complaint to the Revdex.com. Sincerely,    Diana Hannes
