Dear [redacted] ,I am in receipt of your correspondence dated July 21, I have investigated [redacted] 's ConcernThe results of my investigation are as follows: [redacted] rented a vehicle from our [redacted] store in Baltimore on Friday July 7, The return date was Saturday, July 8, That rental store closes at 1:pm on Saturdays [redacted] , per her own complaint, was aware of these hours from a previous experience,Section of our contract states "If the vehicle is returned after closing hours, you remain responsible for all loss or damage to it until we inspect it at our next opening, and time & mileage and optional Service charges will continue to accrue until our next opening."Additionally, I have attached two photographsOne is the sign on the front door to the rental store, the other is the sign above the rental counterAs you can see, both prominently display Our business hours.Given the facts contained herein, a billing adjustment is not warrantedPlease Contact me at [redacted] should you have any questions.Very truly yours,James D [redacted] Risk Manager

He told me that he would have MrPrice call me, this never happenedI found the direct number and I called MrP [redacted] who was polite and was told that he will investigate and call me on MondayToday is Thursday and I have received no call backUnfortunately, the CEO must be aware of this occurance and all other future next car patrons Regards, [redacted]

The results of my investigation are as follows: [redacted] rented a 2016 [redacted] on 3/23/2017. The odometer reading at that time was 29790. The fuel level was 4/8 of a... tank. The vehicle was returned on 3/28/2017. The odometer at that time was 37182, and the fuel level was 1/8 of a tank. [redacted] incurred a fuel charge. [redacted] was additionally charged a vehicle clean up fee. I have included photographs of the vehicle's Condition upon return. My husband and I are rejecting the response of MrD [redacted] for several reasons We should have never been allowed to rent a vehicle that does not have a spare tire and pay a premium rateAs we could have rented any economical vehicle for under per day, that would have come with a spareWe are also rejecting the response because we were told by MrD [redacted] to purchase a total of tires from Firestone, while could only be purchased due to the merchant not having a rimWe understood that we would be reimbursed for the inconvenience of using our personal cash to buy the spare tireIf we had been informed that the vehicle did not have a spare, we would have declined using it and therefore all monies involved should be repaidOur 100% satisfaction should be upheld as we have used [redacted] several times over the past year

To Whom It May Concern,I received your letter dated 05/23/regarding a Complaint filed by our customerI had been in contact prior to your letter with our customerThe account was in arrears and the Customer had contacted me after first going thru Corporate headquartersI spoke with the customer and listened to her reasons for the account statusAfter speaking with my boss at Nextcar, we decided to help our customer with her situationThe decision was made and communicated with the Customer on 05/25/17.We agreed to return her car and collect a partial payment on her account due to her circumstancesWe deferred some of her payment to a later date and she picker her car up from Ine on 05/27/She has agreed to make up the difference in her payments at a later date which we worked out with the customer[redacted]
