I adopted a boston terrier, named [redacted] from here in FebWe looked for a boston terrier for months, I was referred to them by a couple of friends who had amazing experience with themI did not see any boston terriers on their website so I submited an application and sent them an email and they responded back right away with two female BTIt was such a hard decisionI told them we wanted [redacted] but will take both if they cannot find another adoptorWithin a week we were welcoming Ms [redacted] into our familyI was told she was a breeder surrender, would do great with a canine companion (which worked out perfect because I was looking for a companion for my yr old boston/pekingese), and to be very patient with herShe was spayed, chiped, and up to date on her shots She also had papers and great instructions on caring for a rescue dog The price was cheaper than all the other rescues I was looking atWith a lot of encouragement, love and training she is now a spunky, thriving pup who loves life and having bostons with her fur sister

They were awesome! This rescue takes in dogs from tsome of the most rural and financially desolate places in MissouriThey then transport these dogs to the StLouis area to provide them a better chance to find a forever home I have visited them at the location of the rescueThese dogs get to be real dogs while they are at DGThey are welcome anywhere on the property and clearly know that They are healthy, happy dogsWe have now adopted two dogs from them, and our experiences have been above-and-beyond exceptionalThe first time they were happy to have us visit the rescue and as welcoming as a warm hugI was looking for a warm-fuzzy (aka: dog) after the loss of my wonderful 16-year-old faithful companionThey asked a few screening questions to determine my preferences, and then we went to see the dogs IAlthough we looked at lots of dogs that day, I ended up falling in love with the very first quivering furball they placed inymy armsThey gave us plenty of time to meet one another, explained the adoption fee and the fact that the amount of the fee would not stand between a dog and its forever-homeWe were happy to pay the whole fee, because we could, and because it was more than obvious the entire fee would go to care of more UnwantedsWe were so impressed that first experience that we went back to the DG website when my daughter wanted a dog of her own and had saved up enough of her very own money to purchase or adopt one She fell in love with a little black fuzzball, and when it was obvious that this was The Dog for her I contacted DGThey were in StLouis that day, and the day was almost over for themWe live an hour and a half from StLouis, and they offered to take the long way home in order to meet us in an adjacent rural town! Only True Love would compel an entire rescue operation to detour for the sake of one single puppy's future with an year old girl's adoption fee as their only monetary incentive! Both our experiences with DG have been AWESOME for us, and we tell everyone between Hannibal and Poplar Bluff to seek them out

I have adopted dogs from ***'s *** in past yearsAll were puppies I took them to my vet the very next day and had them treated for worms etc (just in case)
***'s was very helpful throughout my process I do not believe in putting a deposit in a dog through the Internet...I prefer to interact with the dog personally I have driven down to their facilities on different occasions They are in a very rural area with no human society, and very limited resources for the people who live around them They get many dogs dumped at their facilities or from ditches etc this is not close to a suburban area and many of the people down there even take their pets to a vet Some of the dogs come to them having no previous care or shots
They do a good service for an area that has very limited services

This is the best shelter in the world I have gotten two dogs from there in the last years and they are the best, healthiest dogs in the worldI hope they continue to thrive and shelter dogsLove the Grove! I have recommended them over and over again to people

Diana's grove is a fantastic group that gave us a great dogThey took in a group of Aussie Shepard some of which were blind and or deafThey didn't turn them away and our girl is one of thoseShe is deaf and partially blind and the light of my lifeI wouldn't have that if not for the dedication of this fine groupThere are people who for some reason attack them because they don't have star facilities or have to pay some people to help them and that is simply horribleI've had great experiences with them and so has everyone I've referred to themThey truly care and they are great people and stewards of dogs who have no one else

We adopted Florida Husky in february of Everyone at Diana's Grove was friendly and prompt in returning calls and messagesFlorida was even delivered to us! She arrived happy and recieved a clean bill of health from our vet on her "howdy doo" appointment! We feel the price we paid for her was more than fair (we wouldn't take times that for her)Than you Diana's Grove!

My wonderful dog *** was rescued by this organization and from there he came into my lifeI also adopted another dog from them, but due to financial difficulties I had to give her back to themThey were gracious and understanding throughout the entire experienceI recommend them to everyone who asks
