Review: I am writing in regards to a service performed by Ms. Reed-Frimpong, received on January 1,2014 at [redacted] Salon. I had a full head of permanent loc extensions installed at the cost of $375. I also had 16 packs of hair used at a cost of $30 per bundle for a total of $480. At the end of service I was instructed to allow my hair to settle and at the eight week mark I am free to wash and style my hair as I please. On February 1, 2014 one of the locs slipped out, I had to drive from my home and have it repaired. Today February 21,2014 I washed my hair, and not one but two locs slipped out. Thus making the the third loc in eight weeks. I consulted with two professionals both with over fifteen years of experience who specialize in loc extensions and it doesn't seem my particular set were up to par.Regretfully I am dissatisfied with the service. This was a costly investment and my product did not live up to expectation. I am seeking a full refund for the cost of service and hair. At this moment I do not wish to have any repairs done. I have taken numerous pictures of the slipping locs and the after result if you need any evidence. Thank you,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I am seeking a full refund from Mrs. Reed-Frimpong at the requested amount of $855.00.This is a large amount of money I spent, As I am a college student, I do not have frivolous money lying around for products that do not hold up.
