Review: Verbal agreement date: Dec. [redacted] 2014 Friday late afternoon - Accident by truck crashed into front end of my parked car and broke both lights. Person assessed for my inquiry was [redacted] said he's the mgr. of the auto shop. The cost estimate of brand new left side headlight & corner light for my Sentra with installation was prepaid in cash $405 and was told by [redacted] will be done in 3 days. I have called everyday about the job since 12/* defendant [redacted] replied fill with excuses of parts delays then eventually he's not answer calls or hang up. Simply say this shop failed to do the job that was agreed upon and prepaid for. Obviously [redacted] is a thief and should be ashamed as auto mechanic serving business in NY. People need to beware of dealing their auto needs at this shop. I want my money back $405.Desired Settlement: I want my money back $405.

Review: I took my car to Diaz Auto Repair and the following items were promised and also written on the invoice:

1- Replace front bumper

2 - Replace front hood

3- Replace Passenger headlight and side light.

4- repair radiator support bar

5 - Paint replaced parts.

I was promised the vehicle would be completed on May *, 1015. I went to pick up my vehicle and the stated the did not get the parts when they stated they had the parts. I live in NJ and they should have called me. They stated it would be done on May [redacted]. 2015 at 3PM.. I arrived at 5 PM and they just started putting the parts on.. By 7PM some parts were put on and the painted the hood and bumper. They gave me a cracked headlight and no sidelight. They used my old bumper and used some type of repair compound.. I notice it was my old bumper and it had sheet rock screws holding the bumper. The paint was very dull and they did not compound after the paint job. Driving my car back home it felt like it was going to fall apart. I contacted them on numerous occasions and was sent to voice-mail and no call back from them. The job was for $1,000. After taking it to a NJ auto-body shop so they can see why my car feels like it's ready to fall apart, I was advised that they did a horrible job and they also confirmed it was the original bumper of my vehicle. They did not use a machine to straighten the radiator support bar and instead was banged with a hammer. Now it will cost me double just to get my car repaired correctly. I have pictures of before and after.. The bumper is falling apart and my wheel is hitting part of the bumper.. They were very dishonest and should not be in business.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $1,000 I paid or I can take it to a shop in my area and they can pay the shop directly to correct the horrible job as my front end is affected and was NOT when I drove the car to Diaz Auto. I suffer from severe depression and had to see my doctor Monday, May [redacted] 2015. This matter really affected me as I'm on SSI and living on a fixed income and I was taken advantage of....

Review: I went to Diaz Auto to fix a broken bumper for my [redacted] Sonata. We agreed for a fix for 250$. One of the guys give me a ride to the bank to take money to pay them.I pay them 260 $ because they did not have change to give me back the extra 10$. They refused to give me a receipt.After they fix the bumper I showed them what a lousy job they did. They agreed with me and told me to go back the next day.I went back the next tree days and they refuse to fix their mistakes saying that this is what I paid for.They did not even clean the dust from the bumper before applying the paint.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund or a fix for my car bumper.
