The car in question was purchased by said customer as is with no warranty, I did inform customer that the engine and transmission was replaced with a used with less miles engine and transmissionThe guy that changed the engine and transmission
has done it several times with successThe whole time we had the car it did not seem to have any electric issuesThe only issue the car had was when you first start it up it seemed like the battery was low at first crank than it would start right up and stay runningThe day the car was purchased customer called me and said the car started to overheat and was smocking from wiring harness and than wouldn't start, I paid to have the car towed back to my store, called my mechanic he came to check the car out, it was a little low on antifreeze he said the coolant system was not purged all the way, filled up the reserve tank with antifreeze and started the car right up with no issues, car set and ran at idle for to minutes no overheating and no smoking from the wires they said was smoking, took it on a test drive was gone for about another to minutes drove it in town and on highway again no overheating or smokingDays later customer called and said something was going on with the key and radio, called mechanic to go check it out he said it was working fine that they was not turning the key to off position that they had it on accessoryI gave her his phone number to contact him about anything and after that I knew nothing about any calls between the two of them if any where made or receivedI have seen them driving the car, not sure of what kind of electrical issues they are having with the car, but when it left my lot there was no electrical issuesI do know that if at any time they may have jump started the car and possibly hooked jumper cables up backwards that can cause any kind of electrical issues because of electrical currents not being right
