We are responding to the complaint (numbered above) that we received in the mail on Friday May 22nd. Unfortunately we are all booked for [redacted] reservations and have been for a couple of weeks. It is based upon first come first reservations and we provide 1/3 of our reservations for [redacted]...
customers. Unfortunately, this customer tried to make last minute plans and we were full. We offered the ability for the customer to use the face value of their payment towards a ticket for the show that evening as it is allowed on the [redacted] but he did not want to participate in this availability. We did offer him to use it for the [redacted] value on another open Fridaythroughout the Month of June which would enable him to get his money's worth but he declined and only wanted this particular evening that was previously booked. As the [redacted] expired on June 3rd, we were allowing him to use it after the expiration date as we did not have availability until then. We have since booked most Fridays in June and have allowed multiple customers this same offer as they were not able to use it at last moment. [redacted]s cannot be refunded except on the day of purchase and that is the comment that was made to him regarding his [redacted] being refunded but he wanted us to allow him to go no matter what gesture we offered him. We try to make our customers happy and have gone to great lengths to keep them happy, but sometimes they will not accept anything except what they want regardless of the rules. We are sorry he did not make plans in enough time to make sure he could attend his friends birthday party, but sometimes things just don't work out. Again we are offering him to use the [redacted] in June on the 19th or 26th but again would have to know if he would like to attend either date as soon as possible so we may save the seats for him. Please have him contact us if he would like to go to either of these shows. Again, we are following the rules on the [redacted] and have not participated in any shady business practices as he stated. I spoke with [redacted] and received a refund since the venue would not schedule us, when they had seats available. [redacted] agreed that is the seats for [redacted] customers will be limited, it must be specified in the terms when you make the purchase. There is a difference between saying you must make reservations, and the seats available to make reservations are limited to 1/3 of the seats we actually have available. As stated by the owner, I was given a few different options. None of which were clear when I made the purchase. If I was aware the seats would be limited for [redacted] customers I would understand, but telling me I did not plan ahead far enough for my friends birthday is not acceptable. I didn't think the venue would be completely sold out when I called, and I was correct. The owner is ignorant, and thinks it's okay to just hide the real terms when making the purchase. I wasted hours of my time resolving with [redacted].
