Thank you for the opportunity to respond to Mr*** complaintWe replaced a powertrain control module for Mr*** in November that he supplied and
were able to get his Jeep Grand Cherokee running for himMr*** then had his friend replace the transmission with a used one and the wiring for the engine was left hanging loose and touching the exhaust systemAs Mr*** drove the vehicle the wire harness finally shorted against the exhaust manifold and caused the engine to stop running on March We had the vehicle towed in and immediately had a technician look at it to diagnose the problemWhen we found the wire harness issue I called Mr*** and explained problem to himHe informed me that he had very little money and asked if I would be willing to help himHe was under the impression that this failure was related to the previous repair that we had made for him but I assured him it was not and offered to show him the improperly installed wiringWe took pictures of the melted harness for himI did agree as a one time goodwill gesture to repair the issue and get him back on the road at no chargeHe accepted my offer and stated that he would close the Revdex.com case that his girlfriend had openedHe appreciated our generosity and was very happy when he took his vehicle backAs far as I know he is completely satisfied
