RE: Complaint ID [redacted] To Whom It May Concern: I apologize for Ms***’ difficult experience trying to reach someone to assist her with her SubaruAs she states, Ms [redacted] had not returned back to our store to complete the testing when I learned of her concerns When I called to follow up with her she informed me she lives on the Washington coast over miles from the nearest dealer She provided me the amount of miles she had driven along with the volume of oil she had added to keep the oil level at the full mark I agreed to drive a loaner car to the coast and pick up her car so we could complete the consumption testing We picked up the vehicle on 8/23/and completed the testing on 8/24/2017, which her car failed Consequently, Subaru is replacing the engine at no expense to her under the factory warranty It will take approximately week to complete the repairs and return the car back to her I feel that Ms [redacted] is now satisfied that we were able to accommodate her unique situation and get Subaru to make the needed repairs to her car Sincerely, Tom G [redacted] Service Director Dick Hannah Subaru

purchased a vehicle from us on May 31st, While working with the sales person, she expressed interest in the “days unitl first payment” promotion we were running at the timeUnfortunately, this was not clearly communicated to the managers involved in the negotiationsSubsequently, Ms*** *** contacted us to alert us of the oversightUpon notification, we agreed to issue a check in the amount of $payable to the lien holder, Columbia Credit UnionThis amount equals the sum of two of her car payments*** will be coming to the dealership on Wednesday to pick up the check and is totally satisfied with this resolution

Ms*** purchased a VW Jetta TDI with 98,miles from Dick Hannah Subaru on December 21, Her claim that we knowingly sold her a vehicle with an open recall is unsubstantiatedAccording to the Safecar.gov website (which is the current resource for looking up open vehicle recalls) there is no open recall on her Jetta TDI at this time
There is no day return policy at Dick Hannah dealerships or in the State of WashingtonHowever, Dick Hannah dealerships allows unsatisfied customers to return pre-owned vehicles up to days after the purchase dateAlthough Ms*** states she was not satisfied with her car purchase, unfortunatly she waited days to attempt to return the carWe standby ready to assist her if she wishes to trade her car for a different vehicle

by *** ***.Mrs*** purchased a Saturn Relay with 95,miles from Dick Hannah Subaru on July 24, 2014. During the transaction Dick Hannah Dealerships extended at no additional charge a day or 1,mile powertrain warranty for the pre-owned Saturn she purchased. Mrs*** was also offered an extended warranty to purchase during the process but declined all additional extended coverages available to her. She filed a Revdex.com claim one year and four months later, with an additional 12,miles accumulated. She is claiming she purchased a vehicle that is not repairable She stated three concerns with the vehicle: 1) a failing alternator, 2) bad rear hatch struts, and 3) automatic locks that didn't work. Dick Hannah Subaru replaced the failing alternator, rear hatch struts, and replaced the worn key remote that was causing the automatic locks not to function correctly All repairs were performed at no charge to the customer even though she was substantially outside of the day or 1,mile powertrain warranty extended to her at the time of her purchase.After all repairs were completed to her satisfaction Mrs*** decided to trade her Saturn for a brand new vehicleA deal was made for her on a new Subaru Legacy and we feel she left very satisfied.In conclusion, Dick Hannah Dealerships takes great pride in its high ethical standards, integrity, fair and honest business practices. RE:  Complaint # [redacted]     To Whom It May Concern:   We have verified that we provided all paperwork, including vehcile title, to the DMV in order for Ms. [redacted]’s vehicle to be licensed and titled with [redacted] as the lienholder back in 2011 when Ms. [redacted]...

puchased the vehicle.  The vehicle could have never been licensed nor the loan maintained had we not done so.  It appears the title was lost sometime after we forwarded it on to the DMV.  However, we are happy to be of assitance in obtaining a new copy of the title for Ms. [redacted].  We will be processing an expedited paper title with the Oregon DMV this week and should have it available to send to Ms. [redacted] via mail or pick up at our corporate office by the end of next week. As soon as we receive it we will contact Ms. [redacted] by phone.
