[redacted]’s WOLF GARAGE - WORST GARAGE EXPERIENCE EVER! Should win an award for WORST Customer Service – After reading this, you are nuts to take your car there.
We had our car towed there because our transmission dropped all its fluid. They did some transmission work and put a new belt in too. We picked up the car after a few days and realized a week later that the transmission fluid was still leaking out. We took the car back and they put it up on the rack. They told us that because they replaced the torque it caused pressure somewhere else and it’s not their fault and it would be another costly bill. We felt like they were not standing by their work. Therefore, we did some research and took it to a transmissions place where we learned that anytime you take the transmission out you should replace all the parts because it’s all interrelated and that way you make sure you get the leak. The parts are cheap (13.99, 8.99, etc.) compared to the labor costs to take the car apart. Makes sense, huh?
So we took our bill back to [redacted] Wolfe’s garage explaining to them that we were dissatisfied with the work they did – it was apparent that they did not do the complete job while it was torn apart. Their response: Bob said “we don’t fix anything that’s not broke.” He claimed replacing one part caused increased pressure to make a leak in another area. So, knowing that replacing the one part could cause leaks in another area, and not doing a dye test to determine if it was still leaking, was good work to them. So we had to take the car to another place and pay to have it fixed correctly. After a heated discussion they agreed to refund some of our money and would call us in the morning after we decided a fair price. We decided half of the labor would be fair. Trish called the next morning and agreed that that it was fair too – even Bob admitted the night before that he didn’t go far enough on the job. Thought everything was good.
I get a call the next day – After more discussion with the owner they decided not to give us a cent and were belligerent on the phone and hung up on me. Wow – great customer service! I called back and said I would let everyone know that I could how we were treated at [redacted] Wolf’s Garage and then hung up on them – it at least felt good. Be very wary in taking your car there – they are nice until you have a problem – and then they do not stand by their work. Never again.
