I thought I had one skunk in an old building of mineI found Dick's Nuisance Nuisance Animal Control on the internet and contacted himHe very promptly answered my call and made arrangements to come out and review the situationHe decided the best course of action was to set live traps on the outside of the building to catch the skunk and then he would remove it from the premisesWell it turned out after days of having live traps set that there were actually eight skunks in the buildingDick efficiently removed them all, none of the skunks sprayed, and there was no odorDick was very fair re what he charged me and very efficient at removing these animalsI highly recommend him to anybody having an animal control problem

Our log cabin has lots of nooks and crannies for bats While they have generally roosted outside the cabin, they have, on occasion, threatened to move insideAbout years ago, after seeing evidence of bats living in the upper reaches of the cabin exterior, we hired *** to bat proof the structure Because of the uniqueness of the cabin, he had to be creative with materials to fit odd spaces, blocking entrance to the bats We were impressed with his work ethic
In the decade+ since his original work, the cabin has settled as all log cabins do, and the roof system has shifted as it was designed to do by the builder (the gables of this cabin are log, not framed, as most cabins are now)This has left the cabin vulnerable to bats, and we called *** once again to help
We were especially pleased because shortly before the 4th of July, two bats decided to live in the screen porch area Expecting weekend guests who would surely like to spend much of the holiday on the porch, we were concerned that everyone would be stuck in the cabin, too concerned about the bats to leave the double doors to the porch open *** came to the rescue He was able to free the porch of the bats, so the 4th of July holiday was saved! He has also returned since, and has added temporary excluders to disallow the bats from returning to areas of the cabin that might allow them inside access
Two more things: *** understands that bats are necessary in our environment He has not destroyed any bats; he has merely prevented them from living in areas where we do not want them Also, *** has never needed access to the inside of our cabin He has done all of his work on the exterior (except for the porch), and he has called with updates about his work
We are very happy with his work
