*** *** ***The septic and well inspection report request indicate that Dick's Plumbing was hired to conduct an analysis of the water quality and flow rate in the homePursuant to industry standards, Dick's Plumbing tested the flow rate by taking a water hose, filling a five (5) gallon bucket with water, and timing how long it took for the bucket to become fullResults of the test yielded a flow rate of eighteen (18) gallons per minuteThis test can only judge the flow rate at that instance, does not test and is not designed to test the volume of water produced by the well, and is not indicative of the quantity of water that will be produced by the well in the future A water sample was also taken and sent to the *** County Health Department in order to test the quality of the water in the homeResults indicated that the water tested bacteriologically acceptable at the time of samplingThe complaint alleges an issue of water quantity, which Dick's Plumbing was not hired to testIn order to test for water quantity, a rig would have to be brought in to bail the well and monitor the time it took for the water level to return to the level existing prior to bailingEven this test would not assure the quantity of water produced by the well in the futureTherefore, the allegations contained within the complaint were not within the scope of tests that Dick's Plumbing was hired to perform and are unfounded If you have any questions, please feel free to contact meSincerely, *** ** ***
