Dick's Highline Towing *** Seatac, WA, 98168Revdex.com PO Box DuPont, WA 98327.Re:***Dear *** ***,In Response to your letter regarding *** *** ***'s impound on September 2015, Ms*** had rented a vehicle from Enterprise Rent-a-Car on September 1st On September 7l Ms*** had a Hyundai Accent license plate number ***, Oregon impounded to our location.On September Ms*** had redeemed her vehicle at 8:42pm from our office located at ***, Seatac, WAOur office hours are from 8am to 5pm pacific standard time Monday - FridayWe charge an after hour release fee from 5pm Monday - Friday including weekends pursuant to RCW 204-91A-Washington State Patrol.Ms*** was parked as an unauthorized vehicle on private property where signs are postedWe have taken pre tow photos which is our standard on each impound and documented all damagesWe are required by RCW to provide each customer with an Impound Hearing RequestMs*** was provided this document at the time of release.When I spoke to Ms*** on September 11th 2015, I stated to her that she was unauthorized to park on the premises and the Manager had her vehicle removed via Dick's Towing's services.Ms***'s request for compensation is unjustifiable.Sincerely,

In response to the complaint I can only address the towing issues and not the personal
insinuations.917/05:33:PM Our call center received a request for a private property impound from our clientmentioned in the complaint
Before we tow any vehicle we take photos of both the location of the vehicle in the lot and the signagewarning of potential impound if one is parked improperly
The photos taken of the impounded vehicle in this instance shows the vehicle parked in space marked withthe number clearly visibleAlso visible in the same photo are multiple Dick's Towing signs.In the state of Washington a custodian of private property need only post appropriate signs indicating thatunauthorized vehicle will be towedThe sign must also indicate the hours of enforcement, the address ofthe storage lot from which the vehicle may be retrieved, and the phone number of the tow company.The tow company is also required to receive written authorization from an agent of the owner of theproperty before removing any vehicleDick's Towing signs were present, visible, and conspicuous
Dick's also complied with the statutes requiring a written authorization to impound the vehicle.The statute also requires that all charges be registered with the Department of Licensing and the court ofproper jurisdiction, as well as in public view at the storage lot
Because vehicles such as the complainant's are taken without the consent of the vehicle owner, Dick'sTowing understands the complexity and potential liability of improperly impounding any vehicle fromprivate property, therefore Dick's Towing is at all times compliant with the statutes regarding vehicleimpoundment
Any consumer who has their vehicle impounded is provided a form to request an opportunity for a hearingto contest the impound
The complainant was offered and received that form.
