RE: Complaint No*** I am writing with regard to Mrs***'s response of April 25, 2017. Regarding item number 1: As we stated previously, Chet *** did not enter into an agreement either verbally or in writing with Mrs*** to reduce the balance due on her bathroom project. Regarding item number 2: Mrs*** is correct as to the configuration of the shower door. The information that I was given by our field manager was not correct. However, as I stated in my prior correspondence, we removed the shower door and repaired the wall tiles to Mrs***'s satisfaction at no additional cost. As we have noted before all issues have been resolved and the bathroom project has been completed to Mrs***'s satisfaction. Regards, Julie ** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]

I am writing in response to your letter of
March 27, 2017 regarding Mrs. [redacted].Dickow Cyzak Tile Co. has been in business
since 1968 we pride ourselves on the fine service that we provide our
customers. We appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns of Mrs.
[redacted].One of Mrs....

[redacted]'s concerns was
regarding the time taken to complete the bathroom remodel. Most complete
bathroom remodels take two to three weeks. Two to three days are needed for
demolition, one day for plumbing, one day for electric, one to two days for
closing up the walls and four to five days for tile work. The shower door
cannot be ordered until after the tile work is completed. The custom shower
door is delivered approximately three weeks after it is ordered.Additional to the original contract, wood
planks were installed on the bathroom walls. After the planks were installed
Mrs. [redacted]'s painting contractor completed the painting. Once the painting
was done, the plumbing was trimmed and the cabinets were set. Considering the
above this bathroom project was done in a timely manner. The wood work mentioned was an addition to
the original contract. We removed the original corner trim and reinstalled the
owner's selected trim. This work was done promptly before the painter arrived
to paint the panels and trim on the wall.At the time of the contract Mrs. [redacted]
selected a shower door configuration that we did not recommend. We advised her
that we felt there would be issues with water containment, but she decided to
go with her original choice. As noted, the shower door proved to not be effective
and wasreplaced with a shower curtain. The shower
door was a custom order and could not be returned. Because the door was a
custom order we were not able to remove the cost of the door from her invoice.
There were additional costs associated with the removal of the door. We did
not, however, add the charges for the labor to her invoice. I am enclosing a
copy of our letter to Mrs. [redacted] outlining the costs associated with this
extra work. The current outstanding balance on her account is $772.00.Thank you for your consideration of this
issue.

Mr. [redacted] hired Dickow-Cyzak Tile Co. to replace his tub and patch the tile around the tub.  Because it was thought they would want a shorter tub so that is was easier to step over, the tub ordered was not as wide as the tub he had.  The new tub left a gap between his existing floor tile...

and the tub.  The wall tile color picked out did not match the existing wall tile.  We did complete the job as per the specification of the estimate and the signed color selection.  We have changed out the tub and the tile to a tub that fills the existing old tub spot, and replacing the tile to closer match.  We are doing this because we feel that not enough clarification of materials selected was done by either party.
