I have worked with Dick’s Homecare for many years in arranging equipment for hospital patients. Their customer service is excellent and they go above and beyond in getting patients what they need in a timely manner. They are also excellent in helping to work through the insurance criteria to get coverage or the equipment if at all possible. Thank you Dick’s Homecare. You really care about your clients.

My mother *** is receiving medical assistance. Her doctor provided me with a subscription for Diapers. Dick's Home Care Inc is one of the only locations that would cover her diaper prescription with her health insurance. Because my mother is not mobile I went to pick up a pack of diapers on her behalf.
When I got to the store and showed my doctor's prescription and asked the clerk to provide me with diapers in size XL. He said " We do not have XL" we only have "L". When I asked if he could order XL for her, he said we do not have a manufacturer where we can get this from. He said it is impossible to get that size for her. He also said, "Can't your mom just lose some weight so she can fit into the L." He was not willing to help me and he was discriminating and making rude comments about my mother's weight.

Daughter cam into Dick's home Care on the Benner Pike in State college with a script for XL Diapers. We told her we did not stock XL and were unable to get the from where I order supplies from.

I did not say it was impossible to get them. We did recommend another business where she might be able to purchase them.

At no time did anyone to her about her mother's weight of losing weight. We are professional employees.

we also said we did not deliver diapers any longer, they would need to be picked up at the store.

Complaint ID Dear ***, Thank you for handling my complaint. Yesterday, I received a letter from you regarding my complaint and a message from Dick's Homecare with their answer to my complaint. Some of facts that I read in their note were a big surprise for me as they changed what really happened the day I came in. Below you will find my comments to their response. "I did not say it was impossible to get them". He specifically informed me that there is nothing they can do about this in the store. "we did recommend another business where she might be able to purchase them"None of the businesses that Dick's Homecare professional employees recommended to me were an option. My expectation was that someone who works in a business that specializes in customers with disabilities should have had better knowledge of who supplies what. I do not understand how Dick's Homecare had no idea that the other stores do not supply the diapers that are covered by Madicare insurance and saved me from running all over town. "At no time did anyone say to her about her mother's weight or losing weight" This is my words against his. Nobody heard our conversation. I did tell him that I am not going to leave this matter unresolved, that this is a form of discrimination because they have suppliers that they can reach out to and get other sizes. He told me that there was nothing he could do and he recommended to try other stores in the area he then explicitly said "or maybe she will lose some weight," he made this sound as a friendly joke but it was not timed properly. "We also said we do not deliver diapers any longer, they would need to be picked up at the store" I even do not know where this is coming from. We did not discucced this matter. I never asked anything about the delivery I was only looking to get the diapers in-store according to my mother doctor's prescription. I would like them to find a supplier for XL diapers as soon as possible. What's unsettling to me is that my mother with the same health insurance and health issues as people with sizes S/M/L has to be discriminated against and has to pay more than $100 per month for her diapers that I am ordering for her from retail stores. I contacted DICK'S HOME CARE to order a new CPAP mask, New webbing that holds the mask to your face, and new plastic tubing. About a week later there was a form from the USPS telling me that someone had to be at home to accept this package. I signed the form and placed it back in my mailbox so I was hoping to receive this package the following day so I could update my CPAP machine with the three new products I ordered. Well, the package was jammed in my mail receptacle so I didn't understand why someone had to be home since the package was jammed into my mailbox .?. So I did receive these supplies in the package BUT there were only TWO items in the package. I contacted DICK'S HOME CARE at their Bellefonte office and explained that I didn't receive the strapping that holds the mask to my face. She told me there was some kind of problem because I guess the person who packed my supplies said she remembered putting the THREE items in the package. So, I triple checked everywhere just to be sure I didn't just overlook the 'strapping' but it was NO WHERE in my house, my yard, my mailbox or ANYWHERE ! So, I contacted DICK'S HOME CARE again and telling the 'strapping' was no where on my property. I haven't heard ONE word from DICK'S HOME CARE. These supplies will be paid for by MEDICARE so MEDICARE will be paying for something I NEVER received . I don't plan on doing ANY more business with DICK'S HOME CARE in the future. They're actually committing some sort of fraud to MEDICARE as 'I' see it.

After speaking with staff, it was determined that no one remembered receiving a second call from the customer stating after double checking his shipment he was still unable to locate the item in question. In situations like these if a customer is unable to find an item we would ship out whatever was missing to make it right. We shipped new headgear to our customer on 10/16/18.

I SURELY DID GET A CHUCKLE THOUGH, WHEN 'THEY' MENTIONED 'OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF THEIR HEARTS, THEY WERE SENDING THE DISPUTED ITEM ! IT TAKES ALL KINDS ! I lost my health insurance for a period of time. I had received an "aerosol nebulizer pulmoaide" from this company. I was never told whether it was a purchase or a rental. (3) months later I received a bill of 120.00$. this was there only contact about this issue. when I returned the unit to them and tried to resolve the issue I was treated like trash and told it was my responsibility to pay the bill. I refused to do so since I had purchased the same unit for 29.99$ from Amazon.

Revdex.com:since I was the only witness it is a little hard to support my version of what went on in the store. I did not start the argument and when I was unable to resolve the issue I left the property and entered my car at which time the guy that escalated the argument followed me out of the store to my car to continue it and I left. this company is ripping off the elderly and the disabled. renting a product that cost retail $29.99 for 40$ a mouth is absolutely highway robbery. I will make this more publicly known. the fact is that this company never once stated it was a rental or purchase. if this information been known to me I would of bought the product. instead they allowed the rentals for 4 months add up before they even sent me a bill. I assumed it was a purchase
