Review: Our edger quit workingI called Dick's to see if they repaired them and then dropped it off over a month agoI was surprised that they didn't give me a slip to show that I had dropped it off, they told me that it would take to weeks to repair itBut we needed it done or we would need to replace itThey run approximately $I called them on Monday to see if it was ready and explained that I had expected a phone call by now being that I dropped it off in June and ask that someone call me the following morningNo one did so I stoppedThey hadn't started to work on it so I asked to get it backHe said that he could start it right away and I said "great! so I can pick it up tomorrow" and he responded "yes"I actually gave him two days to repair itI drove down to see if it was readyIt wasIt seemed to be workingWhen I asked him how much I owed him, his first response was a jokea million dollarsI said he could keep it for that joking backThen he pulled up the receipt and told me that I owed him $or close to that ridiculous amount! If the repair was going to cost as much as buying a new one, I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A NEW ONE A MONTH AGO! I told him to keep it because it wasn't worth that muchI feel usedNow he has MY edger because I won't pay that much for itI feel he should have told me how much the repair was going to costI also think that he charged me so much because I told him I wanted it back and he had to make it a priorityI want my edgerI'll pay as much as $for the repair but NOT as much as a new one.Desired Settlement: $charge maximum and my edger to work properly
