*** ** *** Response
In reading the letter from our valued customer, we recognize her frustration. Unfortunately, we did lose the title to the vehicle that *** *** purchased from our dealership. The vehicle had been a trato our dealership. We
then did everything we could to corre** the problem quickly, but it took longer than we had wanted. Therefore, we lent her a all-wheel-drive SUV to drive because of the snowy winter we were having. We tried our best to make this as easy and seamless as we possibly could for her. We regret that this happened as it was expensive for us to provide this level of service to a valued customer but we believe that providing her a vehicle was the right thing to do
In the meantime, the title for her vehicle has been obtained and the good news is everything is now (and has been) completed for *** ***. We called her several times to let her know that everything was ready, and each time we told her that her car was ready and to please bring back our car. However, it took a couple days for *** *** to return our car, but when she did, we are happy to advise you that *** *** is now driving her beautiful *** which is duly titled and registered in her name. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We believe we now have resolved this matter for our valued customer
Should you have any further questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to conta** me at ###-###-####
Sincerely,
Michel K***

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
As a customer, I am dissatisfiedI was misled and misinformedI would not have purchased a new vehicle with this dealership (or at all) if my question had been answered honestlyIf their salesperson was uncertain what I was asking, or what she was agreeing to, then it was her responsibility to clarifyI asked not only once, but several timesAs you can tell from their reply, the business could not even be bothered to edit their response before sending out a rude and unrefined argument, and I feel they are treating me disrespectfully and without considerationIt would be much easier to simply come to an understanding with me than snipe each other online, and the General Manager refused to speak to me after I submitted my initial complaint, telling me "I'm done dealing with you" and insisting we had a meeting set though unable to even state the date or time of said meetingHe has been trying to brush me off and has instead only incensed me further

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
First, I do not know the gentleman who wrote this response, never spoke to him, never met him and he did not sign his position title with the company at the end of this letter. It is a copy of an email sent to me by Carlos R*** on March 28, at 2:11pm.
2nd: I was sold the car without a title. WHY? No matter what happen to the title the dealership did not have it in hand when the contra** was signed, nor was I informed. I was sold a car that the dealership thought I should have, not one that I was looking for (like my old car a *** ***). Derek A*** kept showing me cars that were not what I was asking and the contra** terms got higher and higher as well as the loan payment. I was sold an Extended Warrenty and Gap Insurance that I found out later I could purchase through my personal auto insurance. In addition, I had to conta** *** as the sales tax on the registration did not match the sales tax on the buyer's receipt
3ed: I notified the dealership I did not receive my registration within weeks of the car purchase. Their response "the state is slow." With more calls to the dealership, January 22, came and I STILL did not have the registration nor the title in my name! The sales gentleman, Martin, selected the *** AWD (2013-PLEASE REFER TO THE VEHICLE AGREEMENT) for me as a "loaner" which I was under the impression it would be for days, not three months!! I did not ask for the AWD, a car would suffice as I always drove a car, front wheel drive, in the snow so please don't make yourself sound wonderful that you gave me the *** for my "safety." ( I also had a self starter and heated seats. I had lots of mornings where I had to wait for the car to warm up and scrap ice/snow off of the window.) If that were true, you would have sold me an AWD! AND prior to leaving, I noticed the gas tank was not filled. Martin told me to save the gas receipts and I would be reimbursed...I was not.
4th: Many times I was told by Ray to come up to the dealership and that the title came in today. Never did. At one point he agreed to even exchange the *** for an *** (car I wanted in the first place) where I even took it for a test drive. Next thing I know, weekes later, the title was in for the ***. The worse part of it was where Ray asked me to come to the dealership on 3/13/(my birthday) where I sat for THREE HOURS when all they needed was a copy of my license and the *** contract. THEN I found out Ray left for a concert minutes after I arrived where I was under the impression he was working on my loan!!!!
5th: Three of the four tires were replaced prior to my purchase. What happened to the fourth?????
6th: 1,miles on my car in three months??? I don't think so. Where was my car driven??
7th: Lies, misrepresenttion of details, facts, contract. My car was to be detailed prior to pick-up...it was not. No armorall on tires, dashboards, no buffing scratches out AND the tank was not even filled. The car did smell of window cleaner
8th: I received an email from James (JT) A*** on 3/25/at 5:43pm to return the loaner that night as the ***'s title was in. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? "Many calls and emails"...again, are you kidding me???? I returned the car on 3/26/at 5:15pm. Because of this, I missed my God-daughter's Wedding in ** on 3/28/15. I was not to drive the loaner past miles of the dealership and the Plate Permit expired. I am VERY UPSET BY THIS!!!!!!
9th: Overall, my health has suffered from this immense scrby Dickson City Hyundai. I can go on with more issues but I am only getting myself upset reliving the experience, especially since I was hospitalized in December due to a catastrophic illness. I didn't need this treatment from Dickson City Hyundai and neither should anyone else!! I will NEVER do business with them again and will make sure my family and friends pass the word along also
Sincerely,
*** ***

December 10, 2014Dear Allison Dondero,Please take this letter as our formal response to the complaint case number listed aboveI have reviewed the complaint in this matter as well as the corresponding paperwork on file*** *** did not buy his car on November 7, He purchased
the car on November 5, I will supply the appropriate paperwork to show thatThe TV promotion did not start until November I will supply the appropriate information for that alsoIt’s no different that if the manufacturer changes their rebates two or three times in a monthFor example, yesterday *** had a $rebateToday, it is $The person who bought yesterday is not entitled to itBut as a show of good faith, Dickson City Hyundai will give *** *** a inch flat screen twWe will put one aside with his name on it and he can stop up and get it at his convenience.Should you have any further questions regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me at ###-###-####.Sincerely,Michel K

I am sorry you feel that way Enjoy your ***

We paid Ms *** remaning lease as agreed to We have all the appropriate documentation , showing us to pay the remaning payments which we did The paper work also show that there is no mention of taking care of " Excess wear " as we would never do it How would we be able to ,
we have no control over the deal she made on the old car , and would have no idea what the bank would want in excessive wear and tear to the automobile Ninty percent of our customers who lease there cars buy excessive wear and tear , so they never have to worry about it The other percent dont because they are super picky about there cars , and bring them back with just wear tear over a year period of time and never have a problem The new car lease she just did and was offered the excessive wear and tear protection , she declined Which is ok , thats her right , however I hope she takes better car of this car than the last one to avoid this same thing happening a few years down the road Its unfortunate this happened to Ms *** with the bank In all my years in the autombile industry I will say not very many people have to pay excessive wear and tear , unless the car is really rough requireing painting bumpers , bad tires , problems with interior and going over the milage Best Regards Michel

I have reviewed al the documments , and transaction paper work on the Hyundai *** ** *** purchased on March 29th This was a one owner car , that was sold and fully serviced by us and its original owner with 38,miles on it We did state inpection , fresh
oil change , changed all wiper blades, changed all the drive line fluids , Fuel maintenance service , new tires , new brakes ,AC blows cool not cold , Evac system dye test no leaks , recharge system , blow to manufacture specs , and a complete detail and waxing On May 2nd order key fobs at no charge ,Aug 2013 second keb inop , reprogramed no charge , Sept 5th oil change at no charge , Oct 4th oil change at no charge , customer say AC not cold We Diag AC hole from rock in the condensor alowing the system to discharge causeing AC failure Hyundai Corp will not cover the AC Condensor due to damage from small rock The AC worked all summer long with a unusally hot summer that year If it were a manufacture defect it would have been replaced , and we would have been paid for the job ** *** was in to trade the SUV in however she is alittle early in the trade cycle , and her credit score is a putting her in a high risk loan makeing the intrest rate high from the banks We can get her a differant car that would get great gas milage , and keep her near where she wants to be payment wise A AWD SUV for $a month is a challenge for her and us Her best bet would be just fix the AC , and continue to drive the *** as they are beautiful top of the line SUV by Hyundai $a month payment is a true bargin on that car

I have reviewed all the documents in referanace to *** *** *** I am sorry the car was totalled and I hope no one was hurt in the accident Its unfortunate that the Gap insurance could not be used in this case , because that would have been the cure all It
would have paid off the car in full , and we would not be haveing these problems The bank was sent the warranty money The original cost was $1,and was pro rated back to the bank at $1,, as the car was purchased November 12th We have a copy of the cashed check by *** Motor Finance We cant get a payoff on the car as its been totaled , the remaining balance is between the customer and the bank The interest rate being raise, we would have no information about that, as only the bank has control over that not Dickson City *** The only thing I can think of why they may have raised the rate is because there is no collateral to secure the loan , and now its considered a unsecured loan which usually has a higher rate . What most people do when this happens , and they have a un paid balance left is buy a car to replaced the totalled car The balance is rolled into the new car which would only add a few bucks to the new car payment With the rebates so high now , it would eat up most of the roll over balance if not all of it Most of the rebates are $or more and have awsome lease with low payments Just food for thought .
Again I am sorry about the confussion , on this difficult place that you were put in .
If you need any thing please feel to call ###-###-####

[redacted] did try to buy a car at Dickson City Hyundai , but we could not serure the financing for him with out the money down . Only one bank did buy the deal , however the approvel exprired because 30 days had gone buy . That bank will not approve [redacted] again with...

out a 30 day waiting before he can apply again . Trust me we are not car collectors and would love for [redacted] to have a new car , as we have a lot of time and effort in trying to get him a car . The inquiries on his credit we only put a few on . [redacted] put 5 on his credit before he got to us couple of days earlier, [redacted] a few also , [redacted] , [redacted], Couple by  [redacted] credit , 5 from [redacted] ect ect . I am sending the hard  copy of the inquiries to show excactly what I am saying is true .      All that being said still doesnt get [redacted] a new car , which I still believe is what he wants to do . We own a [redacted] store also , and that store just came out with a new program for buying people just like [redacted] .
You get a new car with a low rate , which in return gets you a nice payment , 2 years 24,000 mile free service , oil changes , tire rotaions , wiper blades ect . plus 3 years 36,000 bumber to bumper warranty , and a 5 year 100,000 powertrain and we double it to 10 years 200,000 mile powertrain warranty . So for the first couple of years you only have to make a car payment and put gas in it . Thats it everything else is taken car of . I believe you also get a ** credit card to use . Everytime you use it you earn points , with gives you extra rebate money on your next car . We just had a customer come in with his ** card and got a extra $1500 cash back over and above what was availble because he had the ** Card ! If he would like he can contact [redacted] at [redacted] ###-###-#### and get his options .
Sorry for all of the trouble trying to make it happen .

First we would like to say no one pulled a fast on any one anyone . The purchase price was $11499 plus tax and tags , bringing the total of $12513.55 . Based on wanting back $6588.99 would mean [redacted]
wants to pay $5925 for the the [redacted] , and if...

you back out the taxes we would need to sell the car to her for roughly $4900 . The Kelly blue book retail on this car is $13,048 with a fair suggested retail price by Kelly Blue of $12748 . ( I have enclosed doccumment to Revdex.com ) [redacted] paid $1249 under fair market price . The car was also fully serivced with State Inspection , 4 New Tires , Complete tune up , Oil Change , Nitrogen in tires with which gives you road side ast and tire replacment if you hit a pot hole and blows out your tire , Clean and adjusted the brakes all the way around , cleaned the fuel injection system , plus cleaned and detailed .
[redacted] wanted to be $9500 out the door , amount finaced with her $3000 down payment , which we did for her . The car was a low internet price of $11995 well below Kelly Blue book retail . We lowered the price even lower to $11499 in order to get her to the $9500 amount financed with her $3000 down . [redacted] also purchased a Extended Warr for her car , which brought the total amount fin to $10388.99
[redacted] was NEVER forced to take this car . The $13488.99 Price also includes the ext warr , which she purchased , and was not required , but a smart move on her part .
No one pulled a fast here . To ask us to give back six thousand five hundred eighty eight dollars and ninty nine cents . Really ? Wanting after the fact to pay $4900 for a $13,048 Retail car . Really ?
Car listed at a low price of $11990 , and she calls and ask if we will sell the car for $8700 to get to the $9500 OTD ? WE would of said dont waste your time coming or our time , because thats impossible .
[redacted] was here for as she states for hours , and new what she was doing and got a great deal on a beautiful filly serivce car .
I am sorry she is unhappy , but not sure who is trying to pull a fast one here .
I will be sending all my documents supporting the numbers to the Revdex.com .

On May 9, 2015, I spoke with a sales manager on the phone.. Once he found out I thought he (sales team) took advantage of my 81 year old mother, ( whom I may add is very independent & active for her age, but 81 nevertheless) & he had gotten very cockey & disrespectful to me. Granted my mom shouldn't have gone by herself... & she does not have dementia.. But these guys really took advantage of her niativity when it came to buying cars... Writing a negative review is not going to stop here I can guarantee that!!!

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Their information they had passed is false. Hyundai Corporateoffice has all the reports when it comes to the AC unit in my car and that is not what this company had told Corporate office. As for me to fix it I believe that I was under warranty when they just recharged it and never checked it. I believe that at that time they should have done a full check so that way it would be under warranty. Dickson City Hyundai has not responded to the fact that they had falsely sold me a vehicle twice the price because it was in an accident on the left side of the vehicle. As a result that maybe why the AC condenser had to be replaced with this so called non Hyundai part as they claim. Why should I have to pay to get it fixed when I was under warranty?
My credit score has nothing to do with them doing something wrong and making up for it. I now have a vehicle I STILL can not get full value for. Cause how can a vehicle depreciate in value so much in just 2 years. As for the sales manager to talk to me in such a degrading manor is uncalled for. Why should someone be so belittled by the mistakes of others.

[redacted] did cancel the Gap and warranty on 7/27/2015 . It normally takes 6 to 8 weeks for the cancellations to go thru . However beacause it was cancelled so early , we could not cancel them that day because the warranty company didnt have policy yet . It usually takes takes a...

week or longer to get a policy in place , because we are waiting for the money from the bank financing on the car loan [redacted] took out to buy the car . The money should be at HMFC next week middle to end of the week . Sorry of any inconvienance .                                                                                                                                             Best Regards

I am rejecting this response because:
Really?  That's your answer?  So as usual, instead of investigating this you say "we agree to disagree".  Maybe this is why so many people in this area have gone to the attorney general about your business practices.  As I said before, instead of pointing the finger at your customers, maybe you should put some time into investigating their claims and concerns.  After all, you have access to all of documents. We however are not so lucky.
