Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I am willing to accept his response once he provides a date for the refund in full of $Clarity:I chose to contract with this business after doing what I thought was an intense investigation I only found the attached negative reviews after my issue began Otherwise, I would have not selected him.Although parts of his response is correct, I have attached an outline of the exact communications via text messages Thoughout the months, April-June, I attempted to work with DICO by phone (see attachment of phone history) However, he only accepted about out of many phone calls I told him that we should work through the issue by phone and follwith text but he refused to answer most of my calls As you will find in the text messages, dates where changed due to initially trying to find a time best for all, weather condition and his medical condition(s)The reason for constantly asking for a date was to get him to confirm with agreement, which he would not do via phone so I attempted to get him to agree via text.In all fairness, he needs to refund the entire amount in whole of $as was given to him Regards, [redacted] ***

John D [redacted] Complaint Response letterHello please review this informationThank you.Was contacted through service company on website by [redacted] on 04/19/2017.I responded to [redacted] on 04/19/2017, we talked about the project and agreed to meet on the next day 04/20/She texted her address to my phone I walked the property with [redacted] to get information for the estimate I made up the estimate and we discussed the payment arrangements and how it would workShe said shed show it to her husband when he got homeWe said goodbye and I leftI went to a call in Dover, and thought I should have told her I’d be coming back past her area later in the evening and if her and her husband had spoke I could get the ball rolling with the initial payment if she wantedShe responded that her husband wouldn’t be home until later I said ok Next afternoon she satated her husband wanted to get another estimate and would be in touch by Monday I stated was was sorry if my price and concept wasn’t what they may had been looking for , and I hope you do find it, and thanks for the opportunity to bidShe responded Thanks for your understanding and I was on their listWhen I didn’t hear from them on the 23rd, I texted on the 24th asking them to let me know, she texted back that they were bust and would contact me this week day her text on my phone readI had given them a price of $or a cash price of$She asked if Id do it for $I told her I’d split the price difference with her and do work for $The next day on 04/25/they agreed on $I told them I’ll make up an agreement and we can meet go over everything when decided everything was ok we’d sign and collect the deposit so I could get things I needed to get goingShe told me she couldn’t meet until the following week after MondayShe texted on 05/02/when they were back and asked if I was able to still book the week of 05/22/and wanted to pay the deposit on the day work startedI explained that I always do it before hand this way I can reserve a digger machine, materials, call appropriate parties to set up markouts for utilities and township offices, all labors that work take away from the actual job that day and turn that day job into a day jobof more after already deeply discounting the price for themThis practice I’ve used for years without issueI hear back that day, but on 05/03/she texted and said she just got her phone back and asked when I’d be in her areaI told her I was at my sisters house in MDShe said she wouldn’t be available until the end of the week until after Thursday, so Friday all dayI agreed on that Friday late morning early afternoonShe replied Friday afternoon was okOn 05/12/she texted and said her husband was able to fix a minor landscape light issue on his own and asked me to adjust my price again, and to send a new balanceThen on 05/13/she texted asking if I received her msg and starting work on 05/25/nowI texted back yes and said I was a bit busy but I got it see you thenOn 05/15/she texted asking to change the date from 05/22/to 05/24/I texted back I thought you just asked me for 05/25/2017, I was a bit confused She said she made a mistake and all was wellOn 05/18/she texted asking what day I’d be arriving again confused because again the date for 05/25/was still the date In that time I was tending to neck injury from and auto accident and basic everyday home and work activities On 05/19/I texted that no we didn’t have a bad connection as she asked in the text, and to give me a little bit and I’ll get back to you., she replied ok no problem hope all is wellOn 05/22/she again asked if I had any dates plannedAgain thinking we already have 05/25/2017, she then stated they were calling for rain through the week of the job date and wanted me to now give her another date that would fit everyones scheduleOn 05/23/I texted that I wasn’t ignoring your text about the weather and since its an outdoor long dig job rain was a complete washoutI told her I’d be off my feet for another couple days then Id be getting back and to please have a look at your schedule and I’d do the sameShe said that she would be available over memorial day weekend but don’t expect me to do it then, on the down side of my recovery and the holiday mess I agreed and would look at her suggested dates of Monday, Wed, Friday or Satand let her knowOn 05/31/I texted her saying we have a break in the weather let me know what dates work next week for you and we will go from thereI assured her that we did have some bad days as she had pointed out but we will get it togetherShe texted back Haha no problem I certainly understandShe she said she had next Monday Wednesday Friday and sat could I choose from those? I said yes that should be fine but I was gonna see if you were available the end of this week, but ill confirm with you end of day or tomorrow morning, but Im doing a lot of running between me and wifes drsShe replied sure, added fri and sat are best On 06/02/she asked if 06/09/or 06/10/was ok? On 06/05/she texted again asking why I haven’t responded yet On 06/06/I sent her a picture of my hospital band and explained that a coiple days before I had what I thought was a badly sprained ankle but I wanted to have her see the band from the hospitalI was healing pretty good since Saturday and by next week I should be fineI will keep in touch with you as to my progress and said I know we had some bad luck with weather and I’m glad you were patient but I am eager to get this doneShe texted back Thank you I understand just keep in contact hopefully we can get this done next week06/13/she texted and said she had time Friday and Sunday asked what day was good? On 06/15/she texted againasking about Friday and SundayI texted her back im on the mend and I’ll contact done as soon as I’m up from therapyThe hospital had called me back and directed me to an orthopedict stating it wasn’t just a sprain that I had a fracture in my 5th metatarsal, and avulsion and tear and sprainOn 06/16/2017, she said she understood my condition but don’t change the fact that she gave a deposit that expected her work to be done by now, as I was wanting as wellSo she added if she didn’t have a firm date by Monday shed want a deposit I was a bit surprised because we postponed times on her suggestions and waited her time availability as well and that perfectly understandableI had the feeling all the delays were being directly pointed at me On Monday I texted I’d call shortly [redacted] now texts from his number He stated he left a voice mail stating if I didn’t respond in 24hrs hed assume I had no intention of returning his deposit, I did, text him andat 6:on 05/19/and me to work out a date, I tried to comply but at that point he changed his mind and Monday 06/19/wasn’t valid anylonger to give a date as previously requestedWhen I called later on we did speak he reiterated he didn’t want to continue even though it still was Monday the deadline that I had to work withWhile I’m dealing with a severly damaged left ankle, and multiple problems in my neck in which I have proff of in my latest MRI, while he said he understands he still changes the agreed timeline on meNow again getting a text from [redacted] as well as [redacted] after my texts and calls on the 06/19/and 06/20/that they haven’t heard from me that they will don’t want to do effect my good standing of my reputation if a deposit didn’t reach them by the 06/23/On 06/21/again I see the deadline has been changed again, as I got onto my work website and see [redacted] *** after changing his deadline times posts a review tell everyone to beware that I was a theif and stole from him That libelous statement no matter what happens now can destroy my credibilityI texted both of them plenty of times and pleaded for them to understand that I wasn’t even coming close to that kind of action and I’d never steal from them and wasn’t a theifI can’t even log onto that site in fear more people then the ones already that have seen it will destroy my businessAfter 25years in business with barely a glitch this kind of attackI can’t belive thisFor a person to say they understand then attack that same person, confounds meI am returning everycent to them no question But since this man cannot be trusted to keep his wordI request that I send payment to the justice department to ensure the proper handling of this matter I never refused his requests to a refund, I’m not respocible for his assumptionsI’m sorry my injuries and the weather did’nt follow his plans but that doesn’t make me a thief.Who ever receives this please contact me about setting up payment arrangements, as whatever I say to [redacted] will result in the total destruction of my reputation and my livelihood based on this man changing his mind to best suit his own passive aggressive attacks.As I told him and his wife, I never mean or meant any disrespect at any time and want this resolved as soon as possible myself.John D [redacted] [redacted]

day 04/20/2017.
