Diesel Care and Performance Reviews (%countItem)

Ordered product, received them & installed...product tested & no good. Made warranty claim, received replace product and again no good.
Purchased injector super kit for a 6.6L 2003 Chevy Duramax on 03/03/2020. Received them over a week later and when they were installed it turned that there were some injectors that were tested and failed as being operable. Contacted the rep and received a form to sign for a warranty replacement. After a couple of weeks, received the replacement injectors and same issue. The injectors were not working properly and vehicle still having same issue. This issue was not present with the original injectors that were in it. Now several weeks of trying to get this rep to take care of the issue, we are not receiving any calls or text messages back from the company. At this point, we are requesting a refund for the full amount of the faulty injectors which is $1,375 so we can get brand new injectors from the *** dealer instead.

Desired Outcome

At this point, we have sent the original injectors that were in the truck to Diesel Care per the core agreement, the set that we received were bad and were then replaced by a warranty claim submitted. Unfortunately, those did not work either. So we can no longer get the original injectors that came out of the vehicle we are looking to get our money refunded for the full amount paid of $1,375 so we can have new injectors installed to fix out truck.

They will not refund my money on items that I have returned

Diesel Care and Performance Response • Apr 09, 2020

Customer returned item, after getting a warranty part first that did not fix his problem. We issued credit after part was returned. Credit attached.

The core return policy and amount is misrepresented. The process of not returning the core is inconsistent with the industry norm and excessive.
I purchased a *** to replace my broken one, with the understanding that I would return my broken one to avoid a core charge. When the new one arrived, it had a sticker that said the condition of my core to return was unacceptable. I was upset, but decided to endure the $150 core charge.

Some time later, I received a charge for approx $50 which I perceived to be a third of the core charge, and expected two more such charges. The next week I recieved another approx $50 charge.

The next week, I lost my wallet while finding scrap metal at a salvage yard, and so locked my debit card until I could go look for my wallet. I did so but didn't find the wallet, and so went to the bank to get another debit card.

When checking my email, I saw that there was a blocked transaction of approx $500. I figured someone either made a mistake or was trying to embesel money from my account, so I called the business and left a message for the owner.

Someone from their business left a message, and I returned the call. I was informed that the two approx $50 charges were late fees on the core amount, and that the $500 was the core charge.

This is an unfair amount, not consistent with the industry standard of...
1. Not accepting a broken core, as this is exactly why you buy a new one, as the old one is broken.
2. Charging late fees when the core is not returned. Just charge for the core.
3. A core fee that is not now listed on the site, which is $350 more than the industry standard of others selling the same product.

I would suggest, that this is an intentional scam, to put the customer in a position of paying more than double the original price of the product.

Desired Outcome

I am willing to return the broken core for a refund of the approx $100 charged in excess of the purchase price of the product.

I've installed many of their parts and out of 24 injectors 13 had to be replaced
absolutely horrible !! The reason for three stars is I have bought a few injection pumps from them
they were good

I am being charged 208.63 for a fuel injector core that I did return back to them. I have proof of return label, tracking number, and picture of box.
I purchased 8 injectors from diesel care in February for my 2003 ford excursion, 6.0 powerstroke. invoice ***within the first month, 3 injectors failed and they had to warranty them while I had to pay a mechanic to tear down the engine again. 2 weeks later, a fourth injector failed and broke inside the engine and I had to pay the mechanic again to tear the engine apart and replace another injector. after the 4th injector was replaced, a 5th injector started acting up and I finally made the decision to buy them from ford and solved my problem. I sent diesel care all the injectors back to them and finally received a refund. now I receive a bill from them saying I didn't return the cores and being charged $208.36. I have proof of the shipping label that I paid for and pictures of the box I sent them in with the shipping label attatched. (they did not refund my money until they received the cores I shipped to them). I have a bank statement proof that they refunded my money so why are they charging me for a core they already received and refunded? these people are crooks and sell nothing but junk and I will never buy from them again nor do I recommend them to anyone.(*** is a diesel care employee who I was dealing with and admitted to me that they let go of an employee who was building the injectors incorrectly!

Desired Outcome

remove all core charges that I already returned and leave me alone

Problems with bad parts.
Purchased a set of fuel injectors and glow plugs for a *** diesel on April 3, 2018 from Diesel Care and Performance, thru *** at a cost of $927.90. Got them installed on May 12, 2018 and found truck ran worse than with old injectors. Connected truck to analyzer and it showed two of them to be very bad. Contacted DC&P and they sent two replacements which I received on May 17, 2018. I installed these two injectors and the truck didn't run any better at all.Had other work to do, so didn't get back into working on truck until late December, 2018. I assumed that the injectors were not the problem, started looking at the fuel system, electrical system and any other item that could cause the truck to run so badly, but could find no other problems. Finally took the truck to a reputable diesel repair service and asked them to see if they could find the problem. They removed the injectors and found all of them from DC&P to be defective. They replaced them with their rebuilt injectors and the truck now runs like a new one.

Desired Outcome

I would like to see a refund for the purchase price of the injectors as well as reimbursement for the time I have wasted on this problem(approximately 60 hours)

Very poorly diesel reman parts
In 2016 I do not have a accurate date of purchase I called diesel care and tried to get a refund if I sent the product back since all they do is rebuild old parts to "like new" anyway after sending two emails waiting three days for a response I called them then I was passed around to three different employees that told me I was not in the system because it was updated. My complaint is I had bought a LB7 duramax diesel injector kit it costs $900 I worked in a GM dealership at the time and a certified tech helped me step by step through it all these injectors uselly last 200k miles if the truck is serviced on time the first set only lasted 18k miles then I had to replace one it takes 6 hours to replace one injector I done this 4 times all together and it was still not correct every time after about 4K miles. My second complaint the high pressure fuel lines where also poorly made one was faulty out of the box not from shipping but from being produced it had a small imperfection on the seat that would cause for a fuel leak and possibly damage or ruin the entire engine from raw fuel leaking into the crankcase then I had another that cracked after being on the truck for a year and 30k miles my third complaint when I would call to get another injector I was always interigated by the employee if I was installing them correctly I told them who was doing it and where it was they would then send it to me I am not the only person that has had horrible service and been taken advantage of if someone would read this company's reviews they would see that diesel care is doing this every day and getting away with it.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund and some for my time like I said it takes 6 to 8 hours per side I've had to replace 4 in two years and I have only put 50k miles on the truck in almost 3 years that's a total of 5 times I've had to spend at least 6 hours and a maximum of 12 hours plus buy other supplies to replace something that should not of happened and since I'm not the only person this company should have to take responsibility for they're products.

I ordered Injectors for an engine that were the "Premium" Injectors which includes a Labor warranty. They failed, they refuse to honor the warranty now.
On 11-22-17 DCP shipped out my "Premium Injectors" at the cost of $1,415.55,which carried a labor warranty if the injectors would fail.Upon receiving the injectors ,sometime around 11-28 or 11-29,I discover the Injectors were from a 3rd party, ***.
I installed the injectors, checked all balance rates and everything seemed normal , took the customers truck for a test drive and within an 1/8th of a mile 1 of the injectors stuck wide open and the engine was "Hammering" from injector knock. Not wanting to do any damage to the engine I had the truck towed back to my shop where I start diagnostics to where I find the Injector is 15 times higher than normal. I called and spoke to Magan @ DCP and she told me I had a choice of returning all 8 injectors for a full refund or they could send me another set overnight and they would include a call tag for the bad set I had received. But she first wanted me to submit my labor claim for installation of the first set of injectors of which I did on Dec 7th.For the amount of $1,022.40 , that is for 12.8 hours of labor to change the injectors, the labor time is higher than a standard "Federal" emissions vehicle because this truck was a "California" emisions
vehicle which has a lot more pollution control
devises on it which takes more time and is noted in the "labor guide" as such.So I sent back the injectors I received from them on Friday 12-8-17 and I did get reimbursed for the injectors. On 12-12-17 I received an email from Magan F asking me what the problem was with the injectors and if I had any documentation showing the problem and she asked me to send that via text,of which I did on 12-12-17. I had not heard anything back about the labor compensation , so I sent an email asking about it on 12-20-17 of which I did not get a reply.I eventually called to follow up on the labor claim and spoke to Magan F , at that point in time she told me there would not be any warranty on the labor because they sent me the wrong injectors, the injectors they sent were the "Standard" Injectors with a cost somewhere around $860.00. At that time I politely told Magan F that it was not my fault the wrong injectors were sent and that I still expected my labor warranty, she said she would talk to a manager or someone to "Fix"the problem and she would get back to me because she didn't want this to hurt our business relationship as I was planning on making more purchases with them in the future , after 2 weeks I tried calling back to find out the status of the claim but only left a message.I have not heard anything from them. My question is this , If there would not have been a problem with the injectors ,would have I been reimbursed the $600 dollar difference , or if they did catch the mistake ,would of they just "Pocketed" my money I had paid for the more expensive injectors? My point is this , I paid for "Premium" injectors with a warranty for labor , it's not my fault that the wrong injectors were sent , it still took 12.8 hours of my time to replace them. I am a small business, this takes away from my family monetary and time wise as I then had to drive 120 miles the following day to rush and pick up another set of Injectors from my normal supplier and then had to work half the night and all the next day to get my customers truck ready.

Desired Outcome

I simply want the Labor warranty paid that was promised , my entire point of purchasing the more expensive "Premium" injectors was because they came with the warranty.I submitted the claim for 12.8 hours @ $75.0 per hour which is $960.00 plus tax of $62.40 equaling $1022.40.I am not asking for anything but the lost labor and time , not including the 2 hours to get new injectors or the material to redo the job, or having to stay up all night and the next day to work for free.

We have a business that relies on or trucks being in the field. had bad injectors on one of our 6.0 fords and bought eight injectors from D.C&P. They arrived quickly and our truck was up and making money within three days of placing the order. All injectors are performing as new. we are very satisfied with the product and will order the next set from Diesel Care and Performance. Well done DC&P. would recommend them to anyone who needs injectors and relies on a good product at a reasonable cost.

shady practices
bought an item on ebay from them paid for the item. received an email from them saying that I could call them and give credit card info for the core charge on product. was told by them that I would have to go to a third party website and put all my credit info on there form and then send it to them or they would not ship my item. they would not take my credit info over the phone at there business told I must use third party site I refused because I did not buy anything from that site so I will not give my credit info to that third party

Desired Outcome

i deal with credit cards all day at my job have never told any of our costumers that they can not have the product unless they share there credit card info with third party. sounds very shady to me.

My 7. 3 injectors were smoking like crazy. I didn't have the money to go to the dealership and have it tested so I looked up diesel places and diesel care showed up. I called and spoke to the tech department and they were so helpful towards me. They diagnosed my truck and I went and picked up my parts the same day! They are about 30 minutes away from me and I never knew it! I even received a follow up call making sure everything was fine and if I needed anything else. Very friendly and helpful team. They are A1 in my book and I will only be using them. It's very rare to find good honest people and they are good and honest people. Thank you diesel care and performance in Memphis. Keep up the good work!!

Diesel care products sells junk. I Purchased 8 injectors for an lb7 from them, had them professionally installed at a mechanic and 6 out of 8 where defective. Balance rates where way off. Less than 10,000 miles later truck had a sporatic idle and smoke again. They do not back their warranty and if they did who would want to install their garbage parts. DONT buy anything from this company.

Oh. My. G. The first time, I bought four injectors. Two of them were bad. I sent them back, they send me two more back. Since then, I've bought four more. Out of ten injectors , seven of them went bad over night. Then they got eight injector cores from me, and I tried to deal with them and I offered all sorts of options, and they just didn't want to work with me. All eight injectors that I sent back, they were supposedly "lost" with U. Four of them I paid for, and they had my cores too. The other four they are not willing to work with me. I offered them more money than they were worth since my credit card was in their systems, but they refused to do business. Doing business with this company, it cost me almost $2,000 in labor, headache, and stress. If you want GOOD injectors, you can buy them from Ford and pay $45 more and actually get real injectors. If you do business with these people, go*** luck.

I had a mechanic put the new injectors in my 2006 ford f250 that I got from diesel care and with in 5 minutes of driving the truck #2 and #6 injectors stopped working called and talked to the warranty department spook to "Hope" vary rude and didn't seem to care going to cost me a extra $350 for my mechanic to change them WOW

I called Diesel Care, Inc. on Friday morning July 17, 2017 and ordered some parts that were critical to completing the repairs on my 2005 Ford F250 Super Duty 6.0 Diesel Engine - as I am stranded in Yosemtie National Park and have to leave for Denver, CO on Thursday 07/20/2017 morning. So, I had to have these parts today in order to make that deadline!!!

I received them at 10am today 07/17/2017!!!

Excellent Customer Service - Thank You Adrianna!!! All the parts ordred were delivered!!!

There are a lot of bad reviews out there for this company, but my experience was absolutely "FANTASTIC"!!! I am now A LOYAL CUSTOMER of Diesel Care, Inc.!!!

Scammers! I bought a set of 8 injectors for 7.3 liter in Nov 2016. Installed, truck ran rough. Drove to Nashville truck consuming 3 gallons of oil in 500 miles. Pulled injectors and had them bench tested. 7 out of 8 failed the test. One was feeding oil into the combustion chamber. Diesel power llc of Nashville did the test.It was determined that old cores were put into a box and sold as rebuilt.Called diesel care to complain and they said send cores back for replacement. They count on the old old cores being turned in to the shop were the repairs are being done so they are off the hook.1000.00 dollar mistake.

I have used them on two occasions and have had great service both times. I don't think the reviews here are fair and my experience from them hasn't been anything but great. I got a call from the owner after I thought I had a problem with an injector (ended up being a worn injector clamp) and he walked me through the problem. Great guy and good company.
