Hello, We received the email below as the first contact our customer made after his purchaseThere was never any mention that the product did not fit as the customer assertsHe just decided to go"a different direction" as his email below statesMy manager, ***, informed the customer that
since the product had been installed that we could not accept it for return as per our publicly posted Returns Policy page statesShe also made helpful suggestions as to where the customer might be able to sell the used partHere is a link to or Returns policy page: *** This situation is a rare occurrence as we rarely get requests for RMA's just after a customer has installed a part on their carDue to this situation we are looking at modifying our Return policy to allow for a return of a new part that has been installed but for less than a full refundBut, this customer had access to our Return Policies prior to purchase yet chose to ask for a full refund anyway. Due to the damage the customer can do to our reputation, we decided to allow the return of the product for a full refund minus the standard, posted, 15% restocking feeWe are paying for return shipping, too, and have provided the customer with a prepaid shipping label for the return trip to our locationWe hope you will find our actions satisfactory to preclude the public posting of any details of this dispute as we clearly did not do anything unfair to this customer. The product build and fitment were top notch but I have decided to go a different route. The shifter was fitted onto the vehicle but never driven. All parts are in the same condition that they shipped. Thanks.***
