priced at $8.00. We are a small business and strive to give the best price we can to our customers. This item bought by this customer was priced at $9.95 in our cash register. The item on the shelf that she claimed was $8.00 was actually $9.00 and was close to being outdated,probably the reason she didn't bring that item to the register. When we were invoiced for the new stock our actual cost had risen,so all new items were priced at $9.95 as was explained to the customer at the time. I did not realize that we still had one item on the shelf that was priced at $9.00.
