Dig Excavation Reviews (%countItem)

6/13: Estimate and Scope of Work was received from Brandon. Pictures and notes were made for the project via FB Messenger.
6/18: Estimate accepted and wire transfer of $3,375 was made to DIG Excavation.
6/28: Project started. Loads of gravel and asphalt were delivered to the upper part of the driveway by the house. These were agreed to be dropped by the site.
6/29: Brandon advised us that the estimate was incorrect, and that he priced the culvert wrong. We discussed it, and I agreed to an additional $200 cost for a larger section of culvert. He stated he would send updated paperwork, which was never received.
6/30: Brandon hit the main power line with his excavator. The scope stated that all marked utility lines would be hand dug. A service technician was sent to fix the line. I was held up with United Power long after Brandon had left. The power was restored ~10pm.
7/1: Brandon stated that the balance would be $4175, and asked if it could be paid ASAP. I requested a final statement. Brandon arrived and we issued a check in good faith, as we were not able to do a final inspection before/at that time due to weather, and Brandon was in a rush to leave town. Brandon stated the equipment would be picked up later that day. I messaged at 8pm that the equipment was not picked up.
7/2: I sent a message asking when the equipment was getting picked up. I also sent an email addressing some contract and job concerns regarding the final inspection of the job. No response.
7/3: I sent messages requesting a time to discuss the job and the status of equipment pick up. His response via text: "All they said was they're coming. I'm out of service area on a alpine trip. Happy 4th!" I called Sunbelt and was advised that a pickup order was not requested until the afternoon of July 1. Sunbelt arrived to pick up all equipment.

The job was never completed as agreed upon, damages were never repaired, equipment left behind, and no response from Brandon.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

1. The work was not completed as outlined.

2. We are not happy with the work that was done.

3. We never approved the work as complete, we never stated we were happy with the work that was done, and we tried repeatedly to resolve the matter with zero response. I attached a screenshot of our attempts to resolve this matter with no response back from the business. I have emails and text showing the same.

4. We paid in good faith and under pressure due to the business needing to leave town. We contacted the business as soon as we were able to review the work and Brandon showed no interest in discussing our concerns.

5. The business states that they guarantee we are satisfied with their work. We are not satisfied.

Sincerely
