I was a patient of [redacted] in 2011 and he was also the surgeon of my endoscopy.I had [redacted] insurance and a Flex card and I paid all the bills they sent throughout that year and also in the beginning of 2012. The accounts department was never organized, as the bills were spread out in months and were never clear. However I paid all the balances that the insurance did not cover.Two weeks ago I called their office to request an appointment and new prescription and was advised I could not make the appointment because I had a collection with them of 530 (?) dollars since 2012. I told them that I had paid all the bills that were sent and had no idea I still had a balance due with this company. I sent several emails to the accounts department, [redacted] (assistant of [redacted]), [redacted] (business management) and [redacted] (office business coordinator). I sent several emails to have this clarified and no one had the courtesy to ever respond.So this week I called the accounts department and spoke with [redacted] which told me that all this balance was in regards to four different bills sent on 2011 and 2012, and it's very weird because I did not receive any of it and the address did not change. So how come I received a few and not the others?? Also, if it was sent more than once as she said, it should have been sent as certified mail, and also it did not happen. Today I receive on my email a message from [redacted] and [redacted], with a file of 4 pages statement, very confusing I must say, and also with information that this was forwarded to a collection agency in August of 2012.This company it's worthless, they report clients to credit agencies, they do not advise nor send certified mail, or even a phone call[redacted] is a shame and so his staff.
