I understandI expect to ship the kit before the 15th. Jaime

[redacted] I apologize for the problem. My understanding was that your order had been fulfilled from our supplier in Canada last year in November. Obviously you have not received it. We no longer work with this company and are sending kits directly from our office here in...

Arizona. I have a replacement in process and will forward it myself as soon as we collect all of the components. I expect to be able to ship the kit in 7-10 days. I will follow up for you with a status update on Monday the 6th.Jaime J[redacted]Managing PartnerDigital Design LLC

Mr. Jaime J[redacted] replied to my original inquiry that the whole process from initial placement of the order to delivery would be 30 days.  According to his response to the Revdex.com regarding my complaint, he even admitted that it whole process of delivery and production takes 6-8 weeks.   This means that from my initial order on July 13, 2015, I should have received the entire shipment no later than September 13th, 2015.  This only serves to validate my complaint of hearing one excuse after another.  My initial order for $335, also included his shipping charges of $15.00 which totaled to $350.00.  I have not received the whole shipment in the first place and should not have my payment deducted for receiving only partial pieces.  On his email dated Oct. 19, 2015 stated "...The laser parts are going Thursday from the [redacted] office, so you are all set.  Never received the laser parts for the whole month of November.  Further inquiries resulted in more excuses as to the delays, principally due to his health issues.  On his email dated November 25, 2015,  at 12:14 he said "....The laser parts and wood is shipping Wednesday."  By December 14th, nearly three weeks later, still never received the laser kit.  I told him that this process has taken over five and half months from the initial order on July 13th and demanded my refund.  Again, his response to the Revdex.com is 6-8 weeks.  Again, this process has stretched out to almost 6 months.  I see no reason for him to charge me for design as I had provided him with all of the necessary information  in the form four pages of  detailed drawings to the exact scale requested.  To fail to deliver as promised, does not mean the customer has to bear the costs of design.  Its a simple as that.  An agreement was reached for me to receive the entire shipment within 30 days.  Taking into account his response to the Revdex.com of 6-8 weeks means I should have received the whole shipment by September.   [redacted]

With regards to respons made by Digital Designs:I note that an ambition to fulfill the contract has been lodged by Digital Design/Arizona Models. The grievance, however, remains until such time that delivery actually takes place.Hopefull[redacted]

On Jan 8 we did receive an order for the part in question and it was in stock as stated. However one additional item (face plate) specific to the type of aircraft the c**tomer was building was on back order from our supplier. The back order was due the following week on the 15th. When...

the shipment did not arrive on it's due date we produced the item by hand and on the 19th and included it in our next batch of outbound shipments. All products except printed materials are produced at our facility in [redacted]. We batch ship bi monthly with a forwarding service that delivers in bulk to the postal facility in [redacted] NY for delivery via ** mail at which time a tracking number is issued. The scheduled delivery on Jan 30 by our forwarder was delayed by several days due to the poor weather conditions in the New York and Toronto region. The customer demanded a refund on 2/5 and was informed at that time that if the parcel was not checked in we would have the forwarder return the item If it had already been checked in to the post office he would need to return the package before a refund would be issued. A return authorization number was issued at that time. We contacted the forwarder the same day and requested the order be removed from the batch if the [redacted] delivery had not yet taken place. We received confirmation the next day Feb 6 that the order was removed from the batch and a full refund was issued the same day. Normal shipping is via priority mail with insurance and tracking. Had the customer not canceled the order it would have been delivered on Feb 7 or 9All billing, production and delivery aspects as per our published policies were met or exceeded in this case. The refund to the clients card was confirmed posting to our account on Feb 9.We view this matter as closedPolicies can be viewed online at:[redacted]://[redacted].[redacted].[redacted]Arizona Model Aircrafters###-###-####

As this item has not ever been produced there were design and engineering costs involved before we are able to begin the production. The design work was finished in early
November at which time we began shipping components and materials. We have already shipped 2 of the 3 packages required to complete the order. The initial set of
construction documents and metal components for the assembly were sent on Nov 2 via USPS (tracking # [redacted] ) a second package containing
materials specific to construction were sent on November the 14th again via USPS (tracking # [redacted] ) The remaining items to be delivered
were entered into our production schedule on November the 10 at our office in [redacted]. Our production policy and time frames are published and available online
( see  http://www.arizonamodels.com/shipping.php  ) Normal production time frames are 6-8 weeks as per our policy.
On Dec 15 Mr. [redacted] demanded a refund and canceled the order. I responded that a cancellation was no problem and requested he return the manufactured
items from the second shipment. At his point he demanded the refund in advance before any returns. As per our return policy
( see  http://www.arizonamodels.com/shipping.php  ) Printed items are not returnable or refundable and I told him those were his to keep. As we have not recieved the
items from the second shipment we have to date taken no further action.
With notice of this complaint we will issue a refund less services rendered and materials delivered by check on Jan 8.
