Digital Media Reviews (2)

Dear Revdex.com of Metro Houston,I reviewed Ms [redacted] complaint and I contacted my employee Mr [redacted] who not only enrolled Ms [redacted] but also assisted her with her (phone call) request to cancel on December 18th Ms [redacted] enrolled at [redacted] TITLE Boxing Club offers various membership types which includes a month to month option as well as a one year term agreement The one year term agreement has a lower monthly rate Ms [redacted] elected to enroll under the one year term agreementUnder Texas State law there is a provision in the agreement that provides the customer three days to cancel the membership agreement and receive a 100% refund no questions asked Ms [redacted] contacted the club on Friday December 18, Due to the fact that Ms [redacted] contacted us after the three day time frame Mr [redacted] informed her of all of her options.Ms [redacted] stated as indicated in her complaint that she was informed that could not participate in the activity due to medical reasons Under the terms of the agreement the Franchisor does allow the member to terminate the agreement (with cause) for medical purposes but the Franchisor does require that the member provide written documentation/proof from his/her Doctor Unfortunately, this requirement was put in place not to make it difficult for the member to cancel but to protect the Franchisor from dishonesty in order to terminate the agreement As you can imagine, in this day and age we have seen and heard all kinds of stories We did inform Ms [redacted] that another option would be to put her membership on hold until her medical condition improves but she elected not do soMoreover, we provided her with the website/contact info to cancel her membership with cause: [redacted] On December 19, 2015, I personally contacted Mr [redacted] and was directed to her voice mail I left her a message indicating my understanding of her complaint and shared with her that we would be happy to put her membership on hold or direct her to the applicable website where she can submit her cancellation request and send in the required documentation I also shared with her that it is not our business practice to enroll people with the intent of them not using our facilitiesWe have zero complaints on file with the Revdex.com for good reason We make every effort to be fair and exceed our customers expectations If you have any further questions please feel free to to reach me at 281-222- Kindest Regards,Jason S [redacted] Owner/FranchiseeTITLE Boxing Club

Review: I am moving into a MDU (Multi Dwelling Unit) in [redacted] and we were notified that we had to use Digital Media LLC to set up our [redacted] service. After speaking with the rep I was informed that no payment was needed and she needed my card to hold to complete our order. I was not given any other price points for equipment or even notified that the price was based on credit. (This is our second time with [redacted] so I knew what questions to ask)Our service was confirmed and the day before our installation was due I woke up to a $405 charge from [redacted] that I never authorized. When I called [redacted] they indicted that I had to follow up with Digital Media which of course told me I had to follow up with [redacted]. After a lot of back and forth I spoke with a supervisor with [redacted] that indicated I should have been notified that due to potential credit issues (I was the victim of identify thief) I would have to pay the full equipment price. I was never given this option nor was I told my card would be charged for anything.I am now stuck with $405 taken out of my account and I am fighting with both companies to figure out how to get my money back. Outside of filling a police report I am at a lost regarding what to do and the Digital Media rep I spoke with blatantly lied and indicated that she gave me the equipment prices. I asked if the calls were recorded and of course they are conveinantely not! During the same conversation the rep indicated there was no way to know what the equipment charges would be.It just feel like this is a really crooked operation and it's concerning that a business could take $405 out of your account without notifying you or having you sign any paperwork or documents.Desired Settlement: I would like the complete total immediately put back into my account $405
