Review: I have already file a complaint with the [redacted] I received an email from the company I listed asking if I wanted to participate and earn $300 for my assignment. I said only if legitimate. There was no response. The next day I got a cashier's check in the amount of $1985.00 via priority mail. Inside was also an instructional form, telling me to cash or deposit check, then Western Union $1635.00 to [redacted] at [redacted]s.(I paid the fee of $32.70 for transaction); I was supposed to (and did) give an assessment via email to the company via [redacted] I also (according to instructions on the form) spent $30 (a couple pennies short: but have receipts and paperwork for everything except gas) then give an assessment as instructed to the same email. I scanned all receipts for this to that email. The person at this company, [redacted]a kept texting me saying she couldn't find the [redacted] (which I had given her well over 8 times)I have copy of the WU transaction and called Western Union and was told that the money $1635.00 USD was picked up at (I believe) 2:08 Philippine time. I was just called a by my bank United Community Bank and they said that the cashier's check that I had cashed from that company was fraudulent/fake. The deducted $1985.00 USD from my account to cover the transaction. I am on disability and don't get very much money a month to live off of. I thought this business was legitimate(yes I should have done research, but they are your website?) and the check looked, very very real. How did the bank not know it was fake when they cashed it??? The bank is holding a copy of the check for me. The lady at the bank who called me is [redacted] her number is ###-###-####. I have all the contact information for Digital Shopper Co.Inc It showed up on your website. the contact person is [redacted]a email: [redacted] Please help me get my money back...or at least stop this person/company from scamming people. GOD blessDesired Settlement: refunded funds spent per request of the company: $1635.00 USD wired to [redacted], $28.34 from [redacted], $20 for the gas as instructed by letter and the $32.70 for western union transaction fee. I have all receipts except for the gas (I didn't think to keep that one unfortunately)
