Review: In February 2010, a Mint Wireless Speaker set was purchased for $129.99 and an additional speaker for $99.99 on Amazon.com. Also in February 2012, I bought an additional two more speakers from Mintwireless' website directly for a total of $199.99. Since February 2010 until a few months ago, the USB extender piece for the wireless transmitter has broken with little to no contact, force, push, pull. The plastic coating is inferior. About a month after the first time this happened, I began communication with a "[redacted]" who for the period of almost four years replaced the transmitter and USB extender about 5-7 times. I never dealt directly with Amazon as I felt he was trying to resolve the issue. In February 2014 I got so fed up with the constant defective USB extenders, I called Amazon and explained the situation despite it being way past the point of their return/refund policy, an Amazon representative felt so bad she offered me a refund but could obviously do nothing about the two additional speakers I bought from Mintwireless directly. I called Mintwireless and should mention that [redacted]'s identity there is shady and secretive at best because when they answer some claim to not know him at all others claim they are in French Canada and he is the only person to speak to and can only b reached by email and has no supervisor. This was old to me by a "[redacted]". [redacted] refused to refund me for the two speakers and even refused to refund me for half the price. Instead he lied and told me the USB extenders were no longer made available for that model which was a lie. A few days later, he offered to send me another USB extender but that was it and he would never do anything else for me ever again (basically in effect stating to never contact him again after that). Two weeks after arrival, it broke. The speaker system is completely obsolete without the USB and transmitter. This was a very expensive investment on my part and very time consuming waiting for the items to arrive in the mail 7 times.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the $199.99 I spent on the two speakers I bought directly from Mintwireless. The complete system is obsolete and cannot be used or enjoyed without the USB and transmitter. The company is knowingly offering inferior products, not standing behind their products and did not offer me a satisfactory agreement on a refund despite years of waiting for them to go back and forth sending me what they knew were inferior pieces.
