I purchased a call blocker from this place and received it on 6/11/14. After several tries I found out that the device is not working. I called the company at 10:30 AM and told the REP/Salesperson the problem with unit. After he made sure that I was following the instructions from manual and wasn't able to make it work, he said that he had a hard time understanding, because of bad connection and I should hang up an call back which I did for at least 20 times in different intervals, but he he wouldn't pick up the phone. I tried also to call him with my cell phone with no success,Both of our services, Land Line an Cell show the name and number and he had that information already when I spoke with him on the first occasion.All the calls were made during the business hours.I can't just send the unit back for refund, because I don't have an RMA number so I need you help to get resolved and get a refund.Regards,[redacted]Product_Or_Service: Call BlockerDesired SettlementI would like to get a refund.ThanksBusiness Response Don't quite understand this request as this customer successfully received an RMA Refund email and acted upon it by submitting his return unit on time. He was sucessfully refunded on June 16, 2014. He just needs to wait for his bank to post the refund to his account per the refund proceedures as outlined in our return policies.Digitone has met its obligations and this concludes this matter.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Deceptive advertising and bad customer service.Their website under FAQ reads that it works, but it didn't. Why should I be responsible for paying shipping both way, if the device that was sent to me was bad or DOA?I received a partial payment today and like to close the case.

Unable to contact company for questions regarding problem with device.Number called is 87761056903. Have tried several times in the last week.Blocker is blocker a number that has been invited. I called the company and the phone rings several time or makes odd noises than goes to dial tone.Desired SettlementSince I cannot reach them.Have a rep call me so that we can resolve the problem.Business Response We are sorry to hear [redacted] cannot reach Digitone during its normal operating hours which are M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Pacific Time. We observe Daylight Savings Time and USA National Holidays. It is normal to receive an automated message from our office after hours or overflow busy lines.When calling Digitone it is recommend to not call from a blocked Private ID or Out of Area or an 800 number service as Digitone is also subject to the very same scammers as its clients and are blocked. So, a caller will hear the first ring and then silence like normal. Our call blockers do not make or generate any sounds.We receive customer calls on a daily basis without any issue who call within these guidelines and none of them ever complain about getting through. In fact, all customers are pleasantly surprised to be answered by someone located in the USA and not have to go through an automated attendant and wait.We hope this enlightens the possibilities of reaching Digitone during normal operating hours.Digitone CommunicationsConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I reached an employee today and was told that I cannot reach their published number because like my phone it is blocked to certain callers. I used my cell phone and was able to get through. However no where in their owners manual does it mention this. I was told by the employee to enter code "76" to allow my daughter to get through. Code 76 is used to allow out of area calls to get through. My daughter has had no problems with her caller ID until late Sept. After no response from the company I contacted you, Revdex.com. Her calls are blocked as "unknown". No where in the manual does it mention "unknown" as a separate issue. On page 8 the instructions on how to use code 76 only applies to "Out of Area" type calls. By opening my phone to "Out of area" calls I will now be allowing that type of call to get through. However on page 7 the manual states that unknown cals are unblocked using code 72 which also allows Anonymous, out of area, private and unknown. I don't believe that there is a way to blocked "unknown calls" If there is a call to me at [redacted] or an email to [redacted] to explain what I need to do to allow "Unknown" calls only would be helpful.Thanks for your help,[redacted] Final Business Response [redacted] needs to contact Digitone at 1-877-610-5693 like all other customers who do business with us.Regarding specific issues with the DCB+ and the customer's understanding of its use, requires contact with Digitone by phone and from a telephone line that is published and not hidden as in [redacted]'s case.Digitone refers to its original response for [redacted] and this will conclude our efforts to reach him.DigitoneFinal Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I did contact Digitone and as you will see in my last email to you the response was completely wrong and does nor apply to my case. As far as I know they have never tried to contact me.
