Dillard University

Review: On November 19, 2015 at 3:20 PM, I ordered my transcript from Dillard University. On November 20, 2015, I received an email stating that Dillard University would not release my transcript due to a "financial hold on [my] student account.” I have made numerous attempts to contact Dillard regarding this amount Dillard claims I owe, but I have been unsuccessful.

No one at Dillard has been able to explain to me what this amount is for or why I was not notified sooner. Dillard says it’s unable to send me an itemized bill. Dillard’s refusal to release my transcripts costs me dearly. I am unable to complete my degree at any accredited university with my past transcript, and I am unable to move up in my profession without a degree. I have spent significant time and resources asking Dillard to justify the fees it claims I owe. Because Dillard has refused to do so, I respectfully request that Dillard releases my transcript so that I may complete my education and pursue my career.Desired Settlement: Release my transcripts or send me a itemized bill.

Review: I am disputing the amount owed to Dillard University in the amount of $505.28. I mailed a certified letter to Dillard University and Coast Professional requesting proof of what I owe. I requested a copy of the promissory note, a history of what I have paid of the loan from the beginning of the loan to present, and a history of interest and how interest was calculated on the loan. As of today, I have not received all requested documents. I received a letter from Dillard University to advise a payment of $283 was received, of collection fees, collections fees paid by me, interest owed of $50.65, and late fees. However, I do not understand how and what period the $50.65 of interest is from. I need fax number for Revdex.com to send supporting documents.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a copy of the promissory note, a list of payments received from me from the beginning of the loan to present, and the date payments were received from me, the period interest of $53.27 and $.05 was computed, and a breakdown of exactly how interest of $50.65 was computed. This information can be given to the Revdex.com. If the information can't be provided then the loan is paid in full.
