*** *** ** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** We donate to the *** *** *** *** *** ***, a school for the less fortunateWe give clothes to ** *** *** ** *** ***, to *** *** *** *** *** ***| could go onWe (Dillonvale Cleaners) provide a good product at a good priceWe inter act with our customers, learn their names, try and make their day a better day, and when they leave the store, put a smile on their face We go to the car and help the elderly in and assist them to their cars, carrying their clothesI could go onThats how you stay, not only in business for years, but striving and strong.As for the complaintAs in any store there are proceduresAny store always wants a receipt, invoice or something indicating their interactions with the storeWe give all customers a ticket to pick up their goodsOn that ticket it clearly states that "all errors must be reported before leaving the store"Why? To protect from fraudWe don,t always hold to that, but its there for good reasonThere are all kinds of scam artist out there eager to take advantage
According to Ms *** complaint, she came immediately back to our storeIf so where is the invoiceMs *** brought nothing in but the dressI wasn't aware at the time that Ms *** was blaming us for the spotsMy manager told me that there were still spots on the dress, so even though there was no invoice with the dress, I went ahead, out of good business practice, and tried to remove the spotscould not get the spots out by dry cleaning, and the tag said dry clean only, so I called Ms *** to aks if she wanted me to wet clean the dress, to try and remove the spots.She immediately said no and ask what was going to do about itIt was then that I realized, Ms *** was blaming us for the spotsI explained, that one, it was cleaned in a light load, with whites, light colored clothes and that the stains were red in color, and that there was at least to other garments in the load with it, and was highly unlikely that red spots would appear on her dress and nothing elseMs *** immediately went on the offence and demanded that I pay her for the dressHaving never seen Ms *** before, and never seeing an invoice with her name on it, and I'm in the store days a week, everyday we are open, thats another reason I've been so successful, I said noIt seems to me that Ms *** wasn't so concerned with getting the spots out, because she denied me the opportunity to do that with wet cleaning, but more concerned about getting $125,If what she claims is true, that the dress is ruined, then what difference does it make if we try wet cleaning to get the spots out, the dress according to her is ruined.
Ms *** says she is 100% sure we put the spots in the dressI don't know this lady from a load of coal, but she wants me to believe her even though the facts weigh heavy against herConclusion; no reimbursment for $125.00, but with a release from her to wet clean the garment, would be more than happyRod G***
