Review: I hired K[redacted] to plant 7 trees (15 gallon) and remove several shrubs. During the initial walk-through, I clearly stated that I wanted a removal of the shrubs BELOW GROUND, and that "I do not want to see any stumps". He assured me that wouldn't be the case, and gave me a verbal quote of $500 dollars, which later turned into $600 upon his request, and is the amount I paid. However, this landscaper did not have the proper equipment to perform the task requested, and the shrub removal did not occur below ground level. I mentioned to his worker that this was not what we talked about. I was told not to worry, and to "just cover them with some dirt, and that they will rot." The thin layer of dirt washed off after the first rain of course, and the now exposed stumps look very unattractive - a result I specifically did NOT want, with one stump already showing regrowth. Additionally, the root ball of one tree was installed crookedly, causing the tree to lean. I contacted the vendor several times about this, and he refused to make the necessary correction. Not only did he refuse, he was extremely rude, insulting and unprofessional in his response. I subsequently had to hire someone else to make this correction - this landscaper confirmed that the root ball was indeed installed incorrectly. I will now also have to to hire someone again to address the stump issue. Considering the overall lack of professionalism and willingness to make corrections, I am requesting a 50% refund in the amount of $300 to compensate the subsequent hiring of landscapers to complete the work.Desired Settlement: Refund of $300
