If you buy anything from Dimend Scaasi, get your jewelry independently appraised They sold me an engagement ring with a garnet as the center stone and the owner certified that it was a ruby If you're not familiar with the difference between those two stones, it's quite substantial in both price and durability We only found out after the stone showed wear and one of their employees said that's for rubies, which appeared to be based on our research We took it to an appraiser who instantly identified the stone as a garnet
In order to resolve the issue, they finally replaced the ring less than a month before our wedding and they gave us free wedding bands two weeks before our wedding, which took place in late July
