Review: We called Dimensions 2 Associates to repair our sprinkler system. [redacted] and [redacted] came over and worked on the system said they repaired it. Charged $600.00. They had to fix the timing clock also, both of which were not fixed properly. I called Dimensions back and asked to have [redacted] please fix the clock to the time that we had asked him to do. He came over aggravated and said that he would charge me the next time I called. I told him he did not put the time that we asked so how was that our fault. He had me sign a bill and I asked before signing why he put a price of $75.00 and he said that would be for the next time, but needed my signature to show he was at my home. Two weeks later we received a bill in the amount of $86.00 don't know where that came from so my husband called and spoke with [redacted] who was extremely nasty and arrogant to my husband. He told her we were customers for 18 years and this is how you treat us. My sprinkler system is leaking again, so [redacted] did not do the job correct. We do not have trust or faith in them anymore and feel that the job should have been done correctly the first time. My grass is dying as well as my plants. I will never use them again and would like everyone to know that DIMENSIONS 2 ASSOCIATES ARE NOT REPUTABLE PEOPLE, THEY ARE LIARS, FRAUDULENT UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. Why would he have me sign a bill just for my signature to show he was at my home and then try and bill me again? HORRIBLE. They also charged for fixing my sprinkler system which in two weeks was leaking again.Desired Settlement: $1,000.00 because we have to hire another company as well as having our landscapers put new sod where the grass has died due to sprinkler system not working because of Dimensions @ Associates.

Response:

We have been servicing the irrigation system at [redacted] for 15 years and have had no prior complaints from the [redacted].

We did not install the original system and have no record as to it's age or the prior maintenance.

We were called in on July [redacted] to repair many broken lines due to tree damage on the property. We also replaced other defective sprinkler heads and clogged nozzles. At that time

we were also asked to set the irrigation clock at the specific direction of the [redacted] and the schedule was written on the service order.

The [redacted] called us back on July [redacted] and told us that the system needs to be off by4:20 am. We reset the clock to start earlier and the schedule again was written on the service order. There were no other complaints of any additional leaks.

The service call charge covers many things; our office overhead; the truck expense, fuel, maintenance, and insurance; the labor and overhead for the technician’s travel time and time on site. Since we had acted at th[redacted]’s direction the July [redacted], I felt it was not our fault that we had to return. Therefore, a bill was sent for a standard service charge for the July

[redacted] service call.

Our guarantee covers the materials and workmanship only for the work we perform, and not the entire system. We cannot guarantee the future condition of the landscape as we have no control of the system after we leave. The service order clearly states that we have no liability for the landscape condition. The service order also states that the clock must be reset by the owner due to changing weather conditions. If any of our work was found to be defective, we will return to make those repairs at no charge. No call about additional problems

I take great offence to the disparaging comments made in the complaint. We have been in business for over 30 years and I take pride in our record from the Revdex.com. We receive many accolades from our customers about our polite and professional office and field staff. Though we make thousands of service calls each year, this is the only Revdex.com complaint we've had in many years. The [redacted] only complained to us about having to pay for the return service call charge.

We will agree to waive that charge in hopes of resolving this issue.
