I will start by saying we always stand behind our work and will always warranty anything that was either something we missed or was not correctly done the first time. The bike came back to us for warranty work on the valve cover gasket that was originally leaking when brought to us, we cleaned
and sealed it two different times to only still have the leak. Upon the third time coming to us we inspected the valve cover to see that is was warped (this is not a common issue) up to .007" on the complete left side which was causing our leak to not be sealable so in this case a new cover was necessary in which the new cover fixed the leak, no extra labor was charged to go back in and replace the valve cover since we had originally charged to replace the gasket. The customer stated the bike had a hesitation and was noticeably harder to start when he brought it back to us so as an owner I made sure that we missed nothing, I personally changed the fuel pump and filter to help eliminate any possibilities all of this which was done free of charge to try and take care of a good, long term customer. This did not fix the issue but there are many other maintenance items that need to be addressed, we have now instructed the customer that a diagnosis will need to be performed so we can accurately pinpoint his issue.
