APRIL 7, 2017TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN;I have spoken to [redacted] about the backordered partsI told him would like nothing more than to have his truck totally doneI have done all the major work on the truck; all that was missing are several moldings on the right running board, half of them have shown up; which installedThe center step pad arrived last week; waiting on stripsThis particular truck offers different running boards and after they produce them the first year most of the time nobody stocks the replacement parts and they are put on a backorder and a dealer search to locate these takes time, which is out of my control after ordering themI try my best to get all parts needed when repairing a vehicle; as with anything, sometimes parts are not readily availableThe dealership has told me that they have located the missing parts and they are being shippedI told [redacted] that I will call him as soon as I get themThese are small parts not affecting drivability, just appearance, but understand his frustrationI feel the same way, but my hands are tied.Sincerely,George D
