Review: I purchased a dinette set 8/19/13. 3 months later it was delivered and was damaged. I reported the damaged table to Dinette City and they re-ordered another table top. That top is also damaged. The chair fabric is wearing off. It's a fabric that looks like leather, but is not leather. I returned one of the chairs to the store recently. They held the chair for a day and the next day I went back to get my chair and they said there's nothing wrong with the chair; that's the way the fabric "wears". (I had other "[redacted] dinette sets in the past and the quality was good. This set is flimsy. The salesperson told me they have problems with [redacted] products, besides my complaint, but offered no help. Calling [redacted] proved futile, because you leave a message on a machine and nobody contacts you. I then found out at the end of May, that as of 5/13/14 [redacted] went out of business. I want new fabric on the chairs I paid a lot of money ($1.399) for furniture that slides across the room when you sit on the chair and the table moves if you reach across the table top for something. Very poor workmanship,to say the least. Dinette City will not help me at all and they are in the process of going out of business (retirement) most likely by August 1st, 2014. Even the saleslady, [redacted]indicated the poor quality of the [redacted] products, but has not helped me; neither has the owner, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like the chairs re-upholstered as the fabric is of poor quality and the color is actually wearing off. Also, there was a "Made in USA" sticker on the table when I got it. (I was happy to see that...not made in China). I took the sticker off, and the glue, but believe it or not, the words "Made in USA" is still embedded in the tabletop. This was mentioned to the people at Dinette City and they could not help me.

Review: I purchased a dinette set with understanding from the salesperson that after we measured at home if it were too big we could cancel. I paid in full on debit card to avoid an hour round trip to store if it fit.

Cancelled within 48 hours. Salesperson said I had to come in to have my debit card swiped to get refund. When I did, salesperson said owner told her to tell me agreement reads no refunds. I showed her the agreement which reads a 25% cancellation fee . She checked with owner and told me he would not refund. She said I could choose something else. As he didn't have a dinette set that fit our space which is why I cancelled, choosing another one was not acceptable, and we needed no other furniture. But that is irrelevant as agreement clearly offers a refund.Desired Settlement: Full cost of item preferably in cash as salesperson said their credit card machine not working and I wouldn't trust a check from the owner.
