Ding-A-Ling Discount Telephones, Inc.

About 1 year ago we hired Infinity Telecom to add a second line to our home for my business. They came and put new jacks in the kitchen and dining room. Then on 2/29/12 we put a phone extension in a bedroom &sted the phone by calling our home phone number and expecting to hear a busy signal or message saying call could not be completed. However, the home phone rang and we saw on the caller ID that it was my business phone calling the home phone, so somehow the business number was wired to the upstairs bedroom, which we did not want. There is no way we could have known that this happened unless we had put the extension in and called the home phone number. A few years ago we did have an extension in that bedroom off the home phone number, so we know it worked at the time. Then we took the extension out of the bedroom. So, somehow the technician must have wired the business line into the upstairs bedroom. On 2/29/12 I called Infinity to tell them and they just said they did nothing wrong, that it was past 30 days. They sent a technician out to fix the problem and charged us $103.49. I had asked on the phone if we could get a discount or a free service call and they said no. We think this is very bad business. There is no way we could have known what they did wrong and called within 30 days.
