Right before Christmas this year(2015),I went into this small disorganized store hoping to find a last minute present for my young children When I walked in, there was this old lady arguing on the phone with a customers and some kid laughing at the situationI stood there for minutes with no one helping me As I was walking away, the old lady yelled at me (Can I HELP YOU?) So I decided to turn back to see what she could offer They had some old laptop for sale and some small notebooks that were great for young kids I asked about the notebooks and she really didn't know anything about them!! Very blunt and unorganizedThen her phone rang again Sounded like she was talking to one of her friends and not paying attention to me So I walked out So if you're a buyer, I would recommend not this place They only sell older equipment and are not customer oriented Walking in, it looks like a teenagers unorganized room I am new to Canada and felt out of place

I have been purchasing quality ink at very reduced prices for several years now At first I was skeptical thinking it might be like the ink refilled cartridges but that was absolutely not the case I found I received just the same quality as HP cartridges but hugely discounted Dave explained he has a supplier in Western Canada and passes the savings on to his customers The was a time I had an issue with the ink still not printing and I called Dave right away They provided me with new cartridges and when I went to install the new cartridge I discovered I had not removed the protective tape strip on the print head on one cartridge I called Dave to explain my error and paid for the replacement cartridges he had given me Overall I have been very happy with Regent Computer and I will continue to use them

Our family has used All About Computers for a number of years and really appreciate their knowledge and patience with those that don;t find it easy to keep up to date with all of today's technology changes We were more than pleased with a reconditioned-upgraded computer, when we were concerned about our Windows XP version We are still very happy and grateful for all their promptness and assistance Recently we wanted to help out a friend to get a starter computerAll About Computers came to our rescue with a great reconditioned unit, at a huge savings over a new unitThis store knows how to put the Customer needs First, as a priority, to lock in future business and referrals for sure

I have been doing business with All About Computers for the last couple of yearsI have had only good experiences and given knowledgeable advice and money saving tips for me personally and for my businessI recommend them to my other associates and friends

They were not able to help me out with my issue, but they did not charge me a diagnostic fee and were able to advise me on the best way to move forward.

I went in to the store to buy a new wireless router. After asking me several questions, the owner suggested I could obtain what I was looking for [for free] by contacting my internet provider. The owner could have sold me something I didn't truly need but instead provided me with a free alternative. Thanks! Every time I have been to All About Computers (or phoned with questions) the owner/staff have always been patient, helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks to everyone at All About Computers for helping us and providing excellent customer service!!

Right before Christmas this year(2015),I went into this small disorganized store hoping to find a last minute present for my 2 young children. When I walked in, there was this old lady arguing on the phone with a customers and some kid laughing at the situation. I stood there for 10 minutes with no one helping me. As I was walking away, the old lady yelled at me (Can I HELP YOU?). So I decided to turn back to see what she could offer. They only sell older equipment and are not customer oriented. Walking in, it looks like a teenagers unorganized room. I am new to Canada and felt out of place.

My wife purchased a router from this company. The MTS technician informed me that the router was not needed but the cellophane wrapping had been removed.
The company's reason for not refunding the purchase was because I entered passwords. NO PASSWORDS WERE INSTALLED. Therefore this ridiculous policy does not apply to my situation and it is VERY EASY to reseal the package.
Nothing is wrong with the unit. It is perfectly new and unused. I will now make a sign and park myself in front of this business to protest and warn other shoppers. [redacted]

My first experience with All About Computers dates back to 2004. At that time, I was looking to have a new computer built. I went to a number of computer retailers who build computers in Winnipeg. When I first meet [redacted] (and [redacted]) at All About Computers, I got the impression that here is someone who knows how to build computers. [redacted] asked me want my intended use was for the computer. I told him what the primary purpose was, and that I was interested in using quality components, having expansion capacity, and building in upgrading ability.

When [redacted] got back to me with a quotation to have a new computer built, comparing it to a couple of other quotes, it was definitely competitive, and the components that he recommended were quality brand name parts. He explained the advantages and disadvantages of using certain parts, and this included the operating software as well. The computer that I had built by All About Computer in 2004 was great. Because I asked questions, listen to their advice, did not penny pinch on components and software, and built in upgrading and expansion capability, I had a computer that was reliable and dependable which last me for 10 years.

In 2014, Microsoft announced that it was no longer going to support the XP Operating System (along with Outlook Express AND Microsoft Office 2003). All of the major software which I use daily was no longer going to be supported which was going to make my computer now prone for security breaches and operating issues. As the saying goes "The writing is on the wall," for my computer, it was coming to the end of its useful life.

When I decided to build a NEW computer, I immediately thought of going back to All About Computers. [redacted] and [redacted] were still in business, which was great to see. Because I had taken [redacted]'s advice in 2004, and I had planned reuse as many parts as possible on a new computer system build I had put myself in a great position.

First, because I put money into a good quality full tower case in 2004, that case I could use for my new system. For dependability, a new power supply was put in, along with replacing all the fans in the case. Because [redacted] recommended using a SATA hard drive in 2004, I was able to take my old hard drive and use it as a secondary drive which meant that I was able to access all my existing data and not have to transfer from the old computer to the new one.

Again, not penny pinching, I put in a Solid State Hard Drive, 16 gigs of ram, along with other parts which would once again give me the performance, reliability and dependability of a new computer. [redacted] explained to me why I should be using Windows 7 and not Windows 8 (the insight, was absolutely priceless).

My computer is now coming up to 2 years old. The performance is great, just like the day I took it home. The technical support that I've need has been an absolute minimum, but if I have had questions, I've been able to walk into the store and get great insight from [redacted].

The old saying, "You get what you pay for" is true, especially when it comes to computer systems. If you want to pay the absolute minimum, you are going to have a computer system that is going to cause you issues not that far down the road. If you want avoid a lot of computer operating, capability, and performance issues, then you need to talk with someone who has that technical expertise that will make all the difference.

If you want to either buy, or have built, a computer, I definitely would suggest you go to All About Computers.

Our family has used All About Computers for a number of years and really appreciate their knowledge and patience with those that don;t find it easy to keep up to date with all of today's technology changes.
