I highly recommend Otten's! Initially, I filed a complaint against Otten's based on defamatory information given us by another company. [redacted] Construction of Kentwood came out and told us our flat roof, that was reroofed with a white rubberized material, had holes, wrinkles and patches in it. They showed my husband a picture of one of the supposed holes. We had some problems with the roof leaking and contacted Otten's during the two worst winters Michigan had seen in more than a few decades. Unfortunately, Otten's was swamped fixing collapsed roofs on homes and businesses and somehow, our calls were misplaced. After [redacted] Construction claimed we had an inferior roof put in with inferior workmanship, we contacted the BBB. Shortly after, Scott O [redacted] contacted us. He came out and inspected the roof and found that a piece of siding near the roof line was missing and there was an issue with the corner of the roof. He found no holes at all, no wrinkles and only patches at seams where they were supposed to be according to the manufacturer's specifications. Additionally, Scott showed my husband the material used on our roof (where the piece of siding came off) and it is well over an inch thick! This is high quality stuff, far better than anything used in a 3 layer system like that used by [redacted] Construction. Scott fixed the two problems he found, told us where he thought the leaks were occurring and they appear to be in the walls rather than the roof. He fixed that as best he could as well-at no charge. Scott also told us if we have any more problems, to please contact him and to ask for him to be sure there is no more miscommunication. My sincere apologies to Otten's for the false claims made by us based on the fraudulent sales practices of [redacted] Construction. I am pleased to say, once Scott O [redacted] was made aware of our problems, he came right out and fixed them, even though they had nothing at all to do with the roofing and workmanship provided by his company.
